  1. Could be a 'Would you take this shot club' then we could see how many people could say the same thing. Personally I like the 9.3 idea, rabbit and weed control all in one.
  2. Now that is very nice indeed, yes should really be in Side by Side Club.
  3. Any chance of some pictures ?
  4. Maybe it is because of Side by Side Club, people are slowly stepping out of the dark and buying 'proper' guns again
  5. They normally take a few days to post their results.
  6. If you have any luck finding some please let me know
  7. Only because they just go shooting, over here there are too many people over analysing everything. We have a perfectly good Wildlife and Countryside Act, what you can and cannot shoot and when, stick to that and you will not go wrong. Oh! and check this out http://browning.eu/catalogues/winen/# and go to page 80, yes there really is a recommended cartridge for larks and the biggest agricultural pest of all time, the ROBIN 'where legal' so do not tell me that Jackdaws have any protection at any point under the General licenc PS I know you did not say they were 'protected'
  8. A strange thing the 'General licence' more rubbish from Europe! Correct me if I am wrong ( I am not ) is Europe not the place that shoots Thrushes and sells special cartridges for the shooting of migratory birds, what crop damage do they do ?
  9. Corvid shooting is my favourite anytime, Is that a very nice looking SIde by Side I see by the hide, is that new Good bag of Jackdaws they are very sporting and yes I think they can fly through the pattern
  10. Fiocchi make a 3" magnum with 52g of shot and in 7s, never seen them in the Uk, but that does not mean you cannot get them. http://www.fiocchi.com/en/category/products-by-uses-hunting-smoothbore-cal-12/line/performance-cal-12
  11. for a new price look at Hannams Reloading, I think they are the main importer, if that helps as a guide.
  12. Exactly as above, I have always shot side by sides and cannot really say that my AYAs eject any harder than my English guns, you will find that any good loader is more than aware of where your empty shells are going, so just enjoy your No.2, both cases should land next to each other if the ejectors are set right, not that it matters but a gunsmith friend of years ago was adamant that top guns should!
  13. That's surely what public liability insurance is for!
  14. Come towards the light and move from the dark side
  15. Nobody made you read it, so 'move on'
  16. I agree, a real bargain, well done
  17. Similar, but the one that Hairysausage fingers has got looks to have a rounded action.
  18. Look on the bright side, it is only 6 days to the end of the month and you have a cracking new gun. The triggers look like they are set for right handed!
  19. Very nice indeed, think you got yourself a real bargain there
  20. I just got an AYA brochure from 1962. In 1962 a No.1 was £175 and a No.2 was £93, according to google the average wage was £799 In 2018 a No.1 is £14,000 and a No.2 is £6,300, again from google the average wage is £25,000 So as a percentage of the average wage they have near as dam it doubled in price! How times change.
