  1. if its wet then i dry it out - slowly then clean it. dont do the 12b after game shooting unless its muddy , normaly only have 2 or 3 shots and thas with the bottom barrel normaly do it ofter clay shooting after 125 shots !!! how often do people clean semi autos , im picking mine up soon!! jimbo
  2. The chemical is 'Phostoxin' , it reacts with water releasing aluminium phosphide gas, i have had great success with moles. youll need to sign the poisens register i belive, work well on un shootable rabbits too. jimbo
  3. i put them in the frezer for a couple of days , then ***** them , works fine for me . i now have : sloe gin blackberry whiskey and blackbery vodka!! jimbo not forgeting the 40 pints of home brew beer!
  4. the fat along the spine is the same fat that is used for suet . you could try heating it up then straining it and allowing it to solidifie then try it in dumplings . ket us all know how you get on jimbo

  7. we finished the beans , last week wheat came in at 13% to 17% i work for a bailer contractor , we still need to bail 3000t of straw !!!!!!!!! it aint gonna happen but straw feched £76 a ton and barley about £70 . straw worth more than grain !! if any of you read farmers weekly then my boss wrote the straw market bit in last weeks FW , and they spelt his name wrong ! jimbo
  8. like you say once you know one , you soon get to know a lot. id second the 'get his name first ' also try asking if they know of a neibough who may have shooting groung if you get refused , then you can say that 'mr smith , down the road' said you might have shooting ; then wait for the .. oh you know old smithy ! hope this helps jimbo

An old fellow , once told me about a mixture of herbs and leaf material , that was dried and smoked in his pipe , now im not talking about the 'rastafarian old holborn' , but a more leagal smoking mixture . so if any one knows of a recipe then i would be grateful. thanks jimbo p.s i understand that the husk from sweet corn is the 'bulking agent '

  13. how much do you want for one , i like the look of those , especialy as a occasional air gunner .
  14. Help , last nite i was cutting the grass with our John Deere LTR 166, i cut the sloping part of the lawn , then proceded to cut the remaining flat grass , i stopped halfg way through , when i restarted it well , it didnt , the solinoid just clicked , i thought is was a weak battery so tryed to jump start it . the engine will still not turn , any ideas as to whats has caused this , thanks jimbo . p.s it still didnt turn over this morning from cold .
