  1. Just to close this thread off- there is a small hole in the ejector... you have to release the pressure and put a pin through that hole to push down a plunger, then slowly pull the ejector out ensuring that you cover the back of the ejector as the plunger is under spring pressure.... Gunman and figgy, thank you for your help
  2. Just to be 100% clear Using your picture (Thank you for that) Ejector goes East to west (compressed) and the lug then goes north to south?
  3. Hey gunman Yeah I will get you a picture.... it may not be until tomorrow - baby sitting the nephew.....
  4. What should you be looking to pay for in ear protection?
  5. Well that is an hour of my life I won't get back! I have compressed the ejector and twisted, pushed, pulled, sworn, made deals with any god that will listen, offered my soul to the devil, sworn more and given up.... if anyone can show me via pictures - that would really help!!
  6. I spent most of yesterday on my phone and iPad searching YouTube and the internet - a how to guide, a diagram, a forum post etc but found nothing..... I will have a look for the cam you mentioned and see what I can work out.
  7. Hi guys, I hope that one of you can help? I have just purchased a second hand yeoman o/u in 12g. However, it really needs a clean. My only issue is how to remove the ejectors - any ideas?
  8. Have i missed something on OGC? The main reason i was going to go to them i that my boss knows the owner and recommended them - however, now slightly concerned.... I will check out emmet and stone, once the cert finally comes back - i have been told that if i get it back before the the British SHooting show in February then i have done well - what a joke!
  9. Never heard of them - time for a google search!!! What are they like to deal with?
  10. Try living in Hampshire ..... got my section 1 when I was living in Surrey, that took six weeks. Moved to Hampshire and had to wait 7 months for them to reprint with a Hampshire logo. Just put in for my section 2 and have been told that if I get it back in 16 weeks I'm doing well!?! How does it make any sense that someone with a section 1 needs to wait the same as someone without a certificate, maybe I'm being selfish but common sense should reign.
  11. I know it sounds stupid, but I still prefer buying from a store rather than from joe blogs. Which is completely backwards in saving cash but just the way my mind works..... something about supporting people that are employing people.
  12. It is tempting to turn the home office into a gun room!!!
  13. Thank you guys, once I finally get my SGC back from Hampshire....... that is a complete different subject........ I will start looking at the more higher end options and try to ignore to lower end versions that are new in the under £500 area.
  14. Would be looking for an O/U. Is there anything that i would need to look out for apart from rust spots and stock not being cracked?
