  1. Thanks, mate, might have to hold on to the old girl if that's what they are selling at currently.
  2. Dropping price to 80 quid, gotta be someone out there looking for a bargain.
  3. Alright Graham, Nice one mate having a look now, should be able to make it Sunday so will definitely make sure I introduce myself, you should be able to find me, I'll be the one missing all the clays haha
  4. Hi, I havnt seen any message come through, could you try again please
  5. Hahaha, maybe just the tip of the peel, parents are South African but my mother's side is all British. I left in 2004 and never been back, most of my family has immigrated to either Australia or Scotland. The family that is still their have said that things have become harder and so much more expensive. Don't think I'll be going back anytime soon tbh which is a shame because it really is a stunning place. Hahaha West Lothian is top notch, you no seen the stunners requesting livi mall?
  6. Thanks for the tip, I ended up doing exactly that and pretty happy with how it turned out.
  7. Good old camp tape, the shooters duct tape haha
  8. Hi all, I was wondering what the best course of action would be regarding filling in drill holes. I recently acquired a Baikal 12g with a number of hairline cracks in the stock. I found the start/finish of each crack and drilled a 1.5mm hole and the end of each to try and stop the cracks from creeping and then filled those holes with epoxy. All seems to be well however I was wondering what the best course of action would, these are my options: 1 - Leave the stock as is, the tiny holes are not that much of a problem to me, its a Baikal so isn't worth much anyway 2 - Sand, fill the holes with wood filler, sand and then Lacquer (thought this would hold the filler better) or wax 3 - Use a mixture of wood glue and saw dust to fill the holes and then wax the stock however I am worries whether the wood glue would actually wax properly 4 - An alternative option suggested by a PW member Thanks for everyone time and help in advance. Cheers, Warren
  9. Hi Graham, Thanks once again for all of these suggestions mate, you have been a massive help. I will put a holiday request in with the boss (the wife) and will see if I am free next Sunday 26th, It would be nice to put a name to a face. Is this a closed competition or are newbies allowed to participate? If so is it just a case of turning up on the day? and meet some of the guys. The Tuesday evening shoot sounds brilliant and would be an ideal place to meet other shooters within the central belt and learn from the masters Cheers, Warren
  10. Alright mate, thanks for the heads up about that 60 bird sporting every sunday, didn't even know that club existed but it sounds top notch. I'll def drop Tam a message as I'm keen for that next again Sunday. I look forward to hearing about this alternative option as well, sounds interesting. Thanks once again for your help mate, appreciate it.
  11. Main differences are a red action, 30 inch barrels and 4 chokes instead of 2. I'm lead to believe it has a slightly higher rib but never had the both to compare
  12. Ideally Saturday mornings but could do either a Saturday or sunday. I'm up at Morton mist Saturday mornings and tend to try and to join someone else for a round of Skeet however would be good to meet up with some like minded people and have some decent banter over a few sporting layouts.
