  1. Would you rather May had stayed? I still say Boris did well and Covid plus the remoaners have done him. Although if he'd stayed squeaky clean and kept his zip up then things would be diffdifferent he won a massive majority and was then effectively ham strung.

I'll bet most bans were in public reaction to something that happened?
  3. I doubt any MPs in the running are squeaky clean, it's more a case of who's got the least things to worry about, stories, dirt, bodies, random children......
  4. I'm putting this here, I read this and laughed, if things are so bad then why have the Tories been in for 12 years, because the Labour Party is a complete joke and has been for quite some time.

Really? Most of the population will have one holiday, some more, some won't go abroad, most won't travel abroad for work, simple as that. If I was being paid to travel abroad for work then I'd deal with it, I drive for 90 mins to get to work. How long did it take you @Raja Clavatato travel and board the plane over here? I want things to be sorted in this country @oowee we don't live in Europe, I'm sure in time deals will be done and things like travel will improve, but it bothers me not.

If its work travel then does it matter? My geography knowledge of Spain is practically zero, but could you fly somewhere else? Then get the train? But travelling to Europe doesn't concern me, because like most people it would be an occasional once a year thing normally. But I think this is why a relative of mine sold their house in France, they were very bitter about Brexit and it must have been the travel issues, otherwise I'm not sure why they had to sell?

I agree, but when it's one thing after another then something has to give. Although he's not gone yet 😁😁 We don't call them the biased corporation for nothing.

But that's a jolly or work, I'd rather move forwards knowing we aren't being ruled by France or Germany, that we're keeping the pound and the monarchy, we're remaining British. That's rich, but it stops people questioning the poor job she's doing. Boris won the biggest majority ever, Labour hasn't done a thing in years, had it not been for Covid things would have been very different.

  15. Superb film, I enjoyed 2, but 1 was brilliant. There might not be anyone to take over the job, he might have to stay πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

Bring out the knives, going to be an interesting few weeks ahead.
  18. Maybe Boris is trying to stay longer than Kier?? That's definitely the day Kier should quit, no Γ²ne will notice. The strange thing is you used to know who all the top players were in the cabinet, most of the names suggested I've never heard of.
  19. Think I'll put the ten o'clock news on 😳
  20. You can get stuff for the patio, I use a hand pump/spray to apply it.

I've read before of people in the South East struggling because of the house prices, despite being police or teachers, but then people want to live in a bigger house, which means a bigger mortgage and everything that hoes with it.

I've no idea how big the R&D your talking about is, but I doubt its many people, by average I'm talking supermarket workers, mechanics, bank tellers, people doing normal jobs, who pay their bills and try to save something for a rainy day or holiday. The building work never stopped, we've sort of finished our extension now, but some builders last year were booked solid for twelve months. The strikes, barristers who knows, they want more money. Rail strike, I'd say political and the rail/unions don't want to loose the ticket checkers. Doctors, working conditions, all these groups have gone on strike before, it's nothing new. I'd love to know how many are using food banks that don't really need them, I'm sure though that they are a life line to some. There will always be a rise in poverty in some areas, and it's always the poorest areas, same reason those areas have more money spent on scratch cards. Of course they do, but they're still going on holiday, they aren't thinking we shouldn't go. The baggage handlers and ground staff are more people doing ordinary jobs, but a lot were let go during covid, despite Furlough payments. I don't see it, same with education, not everyone needs a degree, how is education failing? I see my kids doing well, same for relatives and friends kids, but it will be the poor areas again struggling the most. How many people live beyond their means? We were discussing this last week, talking about what our parents would have spent money on back in the 80s, there weren't weekly take always, mobile phone, car payments, Netflix, gym memberships, multiple holidays the list goes on. As usual you didn't answer the question though, are you a politician πŸ˜„ He hasn't gone yet, but likely will, people always think change will be better, until things change.

Go on then, if your working how does R&D affect you? Education hasn't stopped, inflation goes up and down, people work, pay bills, eat and repeat. Most people are more concerned with the ques at Manchester Airport, if things were so bad why is there so much building work going on? People have more disposable income nowadays than ever before, mobile phones, Netflix, Prime, Gym memberships etc etc

Might be a hectic few days ahead. Looks like the sales rules might be changing as well.
