For those jumping on the educators saying 'what do they know', I pose the same question to you all because you all seemingly know nothing too. It's got nothing to do with addiction, changes in behaviour, what teachers think is best, or whatever other cock-a-hope you want to make up. There's a reason for it, and it's simple. Children aren't allowed accounts on such sites until they are 13 because of the data those sites hold. There's nothing to stop them browsing those sites, but they are not legally allowed an account until that age. I'm not sure the rules of this site, but I'm sure similar exists (or it should) that you have to be 13+ to sign up. It's for no other reason than it's illegal to hold information of children below that age.

Also, see which countries on that list he has business dealings with. Saudi, Egypt & UAE if I'm remembering correctly. Funny how those aren't banned isn't it?

So since packing in football last year I took to shooting. I've been shooting an air rifle at targets for about 3 months now, and love it. My mate has a small holding and he has issues with rats, so tonight is going to see my first ratting session. I'm going with a more experienced mate, and I think we're going to use his NV setup since it's my first time, but any general tips for my first go? Hopefully I'll be able to put up some photos tomorrow with my kills.

Looks very similar to mine, although a little more dated. Picked mine up for £40 second hand, FEO said nothing about it and was happy to stamp my cert.

Hi everyone, New to the forum, and new to shooting. Seems like this place is the most active UK shooting forum so I've signed up to get involved and hopefully learn a thing or two. Been shooting an air rifle at targets for about two months, just got my shotgun cert and picked up a second hand Lanber O/U 12 bore - first outing with it will be the clays in the morning. I've been asked to sort some rats out on my mate's smallholding too, so have invested in a cheap scope lamp to get in to the hunting side of things. Uncle also takes me up the range to shoot the bigger toys once a month, and I plan to apply for a FAC later this year (when the missus has calmed down a bit from my latest outlay).
