Teal numbers have remained consistent throughout the season on the upper Forth. We fed and shot a splash on one particular farm inland for the first time this year . Every flight, once a fortnight we took Wigeon along with the normal Mallard and Teal. Our normal pond, which is really a splash that floods every year, about two miles away has produced only four Wigeon since 1989, always Mallard and Teal. It shot very poorly this year, largely due to the effective drainage installed last year.

I have a Deben Battery Charger model DA2593. The trouble I have is that I can't remember when the battery is charged. The red power light is always on, but the green charge light can be on or off. Is the battery fully charged when the green charge light is on or off? Many Thanks Kev

Blowing a hoolie tonight. Called for about 5 minutes when a wee vixen came screaming in. Didn't think she was going to stop! Took her after she came through a fence at about 40 yds. Total 60
