    Hi,

    I thought afterwards that perhaps you were wondering where my pics of the hill were taken. Here's a Google Map reference  - or as near as I can get it from 4,000 miles and 30 years away! 55.413719, -3.913624

      No worries. It's just a bare hill! Although actually it's amazing to me that I could go to Google Maps 30 years later and find pretty much the exact spot seemingly unchanged. The sheep fank in the valley is still there. It was a very useful thing at lambing time too. There weren't exactly a lot of places on that hill face to corner a ewe if you needed to get a hold of her.....:)
