Thanks for your help guys. Today i got the forend off, put a small spring and a bolt into the release mechanism and it works! I have to poke an allen key down the hole, but it works ☺

Hi Everyone, so my girlfriend has a master side by side. We were out yesterday and perhaps halfway through the day we noticed the button to release the forend was missing. Now the gun cost us next to nothing. Is it ok to use as is or do we need to find a replacement forend or scrap it? Thanks for looking. Gav
