  1. Translated it on iPhone. They’re saying they’re decent, big heavy lumps of guns but the aim when government made was always how to make them cheaper, and it’s still that when the companies are privately run?
  2. While the temptation is very, very much there I don’t think it’s quite what I’m after, and I’d have to punt the Kofs first to free some funds and cabinet space.
  3. Other way round for me. I couldn’t tell you the reason but I’m guessing the stocks have slightly different heights and the (granted slightly older) field/game ones I’ve tried, shoot lower? I think that’s the correct terminology, either way it’s just not quite how I like it. I’ve currently got a Kofs which is a delightfully light 12B, bought for carrying about all day. However, still prefer my big lump of a browning 525 even for that. Anyway, I digress and this is a sale thread for a cracking, newer model silver pigeon at a great price.
  4. Dammit. Was hoping for Sporter. This must be the closest gun to me ever advertised on pigeonwatch too.
  5. I take no credit for this! I’ve had a good few clays lessons (not enough) and after a box of cartridges pretty much wasted at one stand, my instructor said to shut the left eye. Difference was nuts. Been wasting my time prior.
  6. enfieldspares clearly has a wealth more experience than myself. I should add though that my Browning O/U has a mid bead, which would appear to help.
  7. Had keyhole to tidy minor tears on cartilage, was night and day. Later discovered big hole in my cartilage from years of football. Had a further op to drill small holes to generate scar tissue on the cartilage in an effort to cover over the gap. Didn’t work and was probably worse for a year. Pain at the start was horrendous. Would not recommend - micro fractures was the procedure.
  8. I’ll never be as good a shot as Jonny Carter (shooting less than 10 years and don’t have the time or finances!), so if it’s good enough for him, I’m content with it.
  9. Just shut the left eye. Changed my life! Mine maybe not as dominant though.
  10. Laksen hunting shooting vest/gilet. Size XS. As new condition. Fraction of the price of a new one. £35 shipped.

    Fury v Ngannou

Farce of a fight/decision. Money talks.
  12. I think I pay £30/prescription. But the cost of 1 bottle of meds (approx 2 months worth) is £150 from the vet. £75-£80 online. I get 4 x bottles on one script.
  13. Trait! Ask yourself how many beagles you see off the lead or doing anything useful. Eejits. That said my two can be let off and come back. Mostly 😆
  14. I can’t believe anyone is actually defending what Bridgen said. That’s proper Bat **** mental. Shows the level we have sunk to perhaps.
  15. From my many years of experience, not really. I currently have two (pedigree, pet Beagles), aged 13 and 10. The old one is still a liability, behaving just as the OP describes, despite her advanced years. This is obviously balanced with them being very very good natured with other dogs and humans (big and small!). Our next dog will not be a beagle!
  16. Dpf and egr removed off my 2012 Amarok and ecu reprogrammed a couple of years back. Smells like the bowels of an old ferry when you drive off, but problem free. Bit of a FU to the environment mind you…
  17. You can post them Royal Mail (in Scotland too) but they only cover up to £100 compensation. Very tempted by this 😃
  18. Welcome! I wouldn’t rule out Cluny either, quicker to get to than Bisley.
  19. Photos/ dimensions? thanks
  20. Quite an eclectic mix with some different guns, tempted, but would just be for fun… must resist…
  21. This all the way. It’s about your integrity, not your ability to remember precise dates of historical minor incidents.
