  1. Thanks a lot. Will I achieve what I am trying to do by fitting these two items
  2. I have a Beretta AL391 Teknys and want to drop the heel (I think) as I am seeing too much rib. There is a plastic shim at the end of the stock that says Dx60 at the top and also a metal shim inside the stock that I have matched up with Dx60 at the top. I think I need to buy a DX65 plastic shim but will I also need to buy a new metal shim that has DX65 on it so it matches the other shim. This is my first gun so I don' really know if I am even doing the right thing to achieve what I want. Any advice would really be appreciated
  3. Thanks very much everyone for your advice. I will definitely get a 12 gauge. Only thing I don't understand is when you shoot a crow with a 12 gauge with a huge bang how will any more crows come along
  4. I'm new to this and am about to buy a rough shooting gun for crows. Someone I know shoots a .410 semi auto with a sliencer. Any thoughts on this please
  5. Sorry for lack of info. I am located in South Wales. I want a 12g gun and would like to shoot sporting clays with occasionally rough shooting.
  6. I'm in Gwent in South Wales. Does anyone know where I can go to a gun shop and try out second hand guns.
  7. Do I spend £1000 on a gun or £500. I have been advised by some to go for a Browning or Beretta for £1000 and by others to spend £500 and see how I get on with the sport first. I have seen some nice Franchi, Lanber and Webley & Scott guns for the lower budget but not sure if they are any good or not. Advice would be appreciated.
  8. I have just got my SGC and am totally confused as what gun to buy. I've been advised by some people to spend about £1000 and get a Browning or Beretta and by others to start with a gun for about £500 and try out the sport first. Any comments or advice would be much appreciated. I have noticed that there are a few Webley and Scott, Lanber and Franchi guns out there for around about £500 so not sure what to do or if any of these guns are any good or not.
  9. Can you please let me know if you are still able to get spares for this gun
  10. I have just received my shotgun cert and have been advised to try a few different guns prior to buying one. I would like to spend around £750 on my first gun maybe a bit more if I need to. Does anyone know a club that would provide lessons with a few different guns. I have been looking at guns and think that either a Beretta 686 or a Browning 425 or 525 with 29" or 30" barrels. I want to shoot clay mainly but would also like to go out with friends rough shooting. I am in the South Wales area.
