  1. I have tried it on the hmr and 243. It's ok on the hmr but there's not enough mag/ clarity for th 243 at range and n my opinion.
  2. Tried the photon on the 243 and for me ther not enough mag for shots past 120 yards, now on the 22 lr and feels much more at home. will look for a longer range set up for next year for the 243
  3. Went out the other night after putting the photon on the t bolt. the game keeper said that he wanted some rabbits clearing before they drilled the fields. so out I went not expecting to see that much but there were loads about. I only had an hour and a half but managed to bag 10 out of ten shots so was well pleased . the photon is definitely more suited to Rimfire ranges and because the lr is so quiet I was able to clear these hedges in complete darkness without the near by houses knowing I was there. due to the t bolt being so light and short it worked really well from the truck too. nice little combo can’t wait to get out this week and have another go at them.
  4. I got the lite and i’m Glad I did because scoped up and with a p8 mod on it it’s still a little heavy but perfectly manageable from a truck. Personally any more weight would be a pain and like has been said before if you are not chucking loads of lead down range why have th extra weight
  5. Get a t bolt , far more fun than a cz??
  6. I think the link is that the Armsan is based on a berreta design
  7. Best yukon photon, great for the money worst - Kral puncher bull pup , the biggest pile of **** on the air gun market today
  8. Mine are easy to push forward too
  9. I'm 6 foot 3 and get on with mine fine. I think the smaller stock is an advantage as you can always add to a stock but you can't take away. if anything it's slimline design makes it more maneuverable in a hunting scenario. to say the action has been out shone is rubbish as there's nothing else like it on the market and the only thing quicker to reload is a semi auto.
  10. Definitely give the t bolt a look. I have one in 22 and it's a great gun.
  11. Thank you Charlie t , much appreciated , lots to think about ???
  12. Ok understood. That only goes for the 22 lr, the 223 is a slot that i’ve Never filled or are likely to ever fill, so do I just do nothing on the 223?
  13. Ok I basically want to remove 22 lr and 223 rem. add fac air and up the ammo on hmr and 243. so from what you have said I don’t need to mention removing 22 lr and 223 Rem but just ask to add fac air and up the ammo for hmr and 243?
  14. When removing a calibre do you just put it in the “ammunition to be deleted” section or do you have to put the full details of your rifle in the desposal section?
  15. Oh great , I thought this could only be done on th 20 and 12 g .
  16. Morning all, don't suppose anyone knows if you can fit a weaver rail to a 410 moss burg hushpower do you?
  17. I wish I hadn’t bothered with the 6 gun cabinet and skipped straight to the 10. the good thing about cabinets is that the missus can’t see inside them and whenever I come back from shooting she’s asleep so they go back I unseen too
  18. I'd say the hmr is the best all rounder , if I thought about picking up just one rifles for a nights shooting then it covers all bases. it has limitations for fox but you can work within these. its cheaper than centre fire if you can't be bothered with reloading , it's relatively safe from a ricochet perspective and not as loud as most centre fire. whatever you do though don't get rid of your air rifle, you'll always needs it.
  19. The browning is underated mainly because of the success/popularity of the cz. However the trigger is just as easy to sort and if weight is an issue then add a bigger scope or bipod or put weight in the stock. i've used both and wouldn't be without that straigh pull action, very quick and fun to use. its just a shame that you can't buy decent centre fire with a straight pull for good money.
  20. Cheers mate I'll look at these when I get my 223
  21. That interesting about the 223 being much quieter than the 243. What ammo / silencer combo are you using on the 223?
  22. I"m guessing that it can handle the recoil so my only concern is the 6.5 mag but I can see rabbits at 150 yards with the t20 on board so I guess there's nothing to worry about. but just wanted to check in case there's anything I missed before I swap it out for the current scope.
  23. Just wondered if anyone has tried the above. Seriously considering taking the photon off the hmr and putting it on the tikka. nv rabbits are too easy but could always use an advantage against fox.
