  1. That was a reply to Rem 260 about the democratic countries that have not voted against the Russian action. India is one of those democracies and is the most populous. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/10/22/the-worlds-7-largest-democracies-where-do-america-and-india-fit/ However as this article points out, it's also a flawed democracy.
  2. When I was working in India, they told me constantly that India is the world's biggest democracy. Unfortunately its also one of the most corrupt.
  3. This banned on Youtube, but reminds me of the US backed Northern Alliance in Afghanistan, the YPK in Iraq, the Free Syrians in Syria, the South Vietnamese in Vietnam. Israeli TV channel INN made a cartoon called "What Europe supports must stay in Europe" (bitchute.com) Music Bristol by Harry Rais.
  4. People like to talk hard. But having spent a few winters in that region at minus 25+ it can kill you very quickly. When people are hungry and cold they will do anything. Mentally preparing your self is not the same as freezing or starving. No he didn't and not many countries in conflict end war and then start negotiations. Most of them negotiate, that breaks down, conflict starts, negotiations start, conflict continues as they try to work out the best deal. If that doesn't eventuate, conflict continues and then there is an unconditional surrender.
  5. That furphy. All the memes of tractors and DJI drones , don't see much of them anymore.
  6. Canon are the ones they use and are made in China. China is still trading with Russia. This article makes no sense.
  7. Do you honestly believe that? The sam reports say Sweden's speed cameras have Nikon cameras and the kamikaze drones have Canon. But they can't explain why they are being stolen.
  8. No doubt you have but is your handle Mungler?
  9. Sure, just like Africa, Venezuela, , Chile, India, China, USA, Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, France, and too many other countries to list. Never been to Wales though.
  10. I don't provide significant criticism of Zelensky, Biden, Johnson, Truss, Morrison, Arden, Xi, Modi, Macron, Dragi either. Must be you who needs to provide significant criticism to justify your position. Don't confuse that with other people's intentions. Have you ever been to Ukraine or Russia?
  11. So I take it that you can't answer the word count or bother reading my previous answer. Do you like the sound of your own voice?
  12. US LNG 4x what germans were paying before from piped gas from Russia. That will teach them. Question is who is them.
  13. When Ukraine was stealing cheap gas and selling it at retail Russia turned off the tap. Within an instant Obama was telling the Germans that America can supply LNG. Now with Nordstream gone, it's da javu.
  14. I have responded to this before. However you ignore, rinse and repeat. Well there appears to be reports that the bomb used for the kerch bridge was smuggled out on a grain ship from Odessa. Under normal war conditions there would have been a naval blockade and this would never have happened. The humanitarian corridor period for allowing merchant ships through is about to end. Along with the no bombing of Odessa port facilities. Russia is saying they won't extend period unless some sanctions are lifted and fertiliser is allowed to be exported. The Americans wanted regime change. Americans are still there after regime change. Are the Americans in Ukraine for regime change.
  15. Certainly felt like it but that's okay. I recognise the legal definition rather than the outcome. I admit I was wrong. If people can't accept the legal definition of a special military operation then that's okay too.
  16. Ungrateful ****. Imagine walking outside without a mask. You will comply or die trying. https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/melbourne-readies-exit-worlds-longest-covid-19-lockdowns-2021-10-20/
  17. Tha Not sure what definition you are posting but the second part is right. Parliament was suspended for almost a year. Not even during WW2 was it suspended.
  18. No, I said martial law but if you want to get technical we were under a declared state of emergency that also allowed the deployment of military on the streets and to impose curfews. Plus shoot anybody on sight. If you want to be a stickler for legal terms that's fine I have corrected myself. And technically it's a special military operation because the Russians have not made a declaration of war.
  19. Yeah. UN with an African in charge couldn't step in to prevent 800,000 Rwandan civilians.
  20. The military were mobilised St checkpoints around Melbourne city to prevent people leaving and at the border to prevent people leaving the state. The actual state was under the control of the police who deployed tactical response teams in armour vehicles to shoot anybody on the streets with rubber bullets.
  21. I had martial law in Victoria for months. 23 hours a day home detention, 5km limit, nobody on the streets after 8pm. Old people still died and the economy lost $65B in cash payments. Coincidentally the same payment to Ukraine by the west.
  22. Not sure. I receive nothing. Is assistance per month or annual?
