  1. Yesterday I read that 80% of the targets were hit by mini drones which overwhelmed the air defence systems. Then I heard on Sky news that Ukraine shot down 80% of the drones. Could both be right?
  2. Well who knows. At least they report their own peace negotiator died at the hands of their secret service. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/world/ukrainian-negotiator-killed-claims-spying-b986356.html
  3. Worked with Russia. Just add China and Brazil to the list. Sanctions are the way to go. They force regime change and revolutions.
  4. Its not looking too good for his biggest supporter who's still left either - Biden.
  5. Well the big kherson counter offensive was repelled by artillery and the airforce. Chinese are closing embassy an telling citizens to get out. The hard slog at Bakmut is coming to a close and the Lyman counter offensive seems stopped in it's tracks. Not looking good for zelensky
  6. Im seeing reports the missiles knocking out planes are launched further than 100 miles.
  7. Demanding answers then being upset about them. A very strange outlook on life and not one beholden to learning anything new.
  8. You post an article. Do you even read your stuff you are sending links to? Your highlighted text is what the FT reporter wrote. The actual quote from Putin was, subject to translation: “We will never allow Ukraine to become a stronghold of aggressive actions against our country,” he said.
  9. Dude, do you carefully read anything? I used to collect for the Salvation Army and the Red Cross when I was in the boy scouts and cubs before that. I continued to support the Salvation Army for many decades now in my working life. I do not donate to the boy scouts unless I see them holding a fund raising event. You ask straight questions get straight answers if you don't like it that's your problem.
  10. You asked for a criticism of Putin before and I gave you one, didn't fit your narrative and they you just wash and repeat. If I had to criticize Zelensky is that he didn't take the deal offered back in March and saved a lot of bloodshed. They have both made their choices and the conflict may end up splitting the EU project for good. I give 20 dollars a month to the Salvation Army, direct debit from my savings account and I've supported since I was a boy scout. I wouldn't decide to donate to the Salvo's based on some posting on some off topic thread.
  11. Well I'm seeing reports of the Ukrainian Migs being shot down as they try to shoot down the drone attacks and the missile systems are launching their missiles from a pretty far distance. Now I've just seen the latest Kherson offensive which was repulsed by artillery was then hit with the Russian airforce in retreat.
  12. I read this morning that during the negotiations as a sign of good faith that Zelensky would agree to conditions and the UA pull out of the Donbass, the Russian's pulled out of Kiev. However that didn't got to plan, so Russian's withdrew and have started the grind to push the UA out of the Donbass.
  13. "You got to give the Russian's credit. They are allowing civilian who wants to get out of the fighting zone to get a russian passport and move east. The UK on the other hand doesn't give them a passport and sends them to Rwanda hoping that solves the problem." "Them" being people fleeing a war zone. Any war zone such as Syria, Libya or any other conflicted place that the UK government stuck its nose in or "invaded". If Libya wasn't such a basket case you wouldn't have people fleeing the Sudan conflicts to make it through to boat smugglers in Libya but hey, the UK helped get rid of Ghaddafi. I said that Russians are offering passports to people in the Donbass. I then said that the UK government doesn't give refugees passports but is sending them to Rwanda. You then jumped the topic and started to distinguish between your so called financial refugees and Ukrainians which maybe refugees or economic refugees arriving in the UK. You then ask me to state how many Ukrainian refugees have be relocated in Rwanda which you said will never happen. However I find that Boris is already considering moving the Ukrainians to Rwanda to which you ask me to provide numbers, sorry you can do your own research on that one. You can accept the following or not, the UK is not going to be handing out UK passports to refugees like the Russians are for the people of the Donbass. the UK is sending war refugees to Rwanda rather than given them UK passports. Refugees get stopped all the time at borders and if you open up their bags you will be surprised what you see. Former Ukrainian MP's wife tries to flee country with 28 million dollars, 1.3 million euros in cash (msn.com)
  14. I think you are right. Macron has been pushing for an EU army for some time. That would be very interesting if the EU has a proxy war without the USA in eastern europe. Zelensky needs US$5B a month just to keep his country functioning. That is a huge hole I"m not sure the citizens of the EU would be saying why are we paying for that.
  15. Well I certainly learned than Putin looks like Dobby and Xi looks like Winnie the Pooh. I also learned that Zelensky is outlasting all of his western supporters in 8 months, its almost like a curse. Putin has outlasted all of the Western Leaders in 22 years.
  16. You have a short memory, the ukrainian helicopters flew over the border and destroyed a fuel depot and there have been other missiles fired. So lazy, can't even read a link to a declaration of war or the American invasion of Panama.
  17. Who knows, the government is always quiet when they relocate refugees to other countries to avoid political fallout from ther supporters. You asked for an answer, the UK government is thinking about it, whereas the Russian government is offering them passports.
  18. Ok then. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/jun/23/ukrainians-who-come-to-uk-illegally-could-be-sent-to-rwanda-johnson-says
  19. Ukraine borders the Balkans and the Serbs are keen to kick off again. Sorry it reads that way.
  20. Good lord. You are a moderator and all you can contribute is quack quack?
  21. Initially no. But now that the Donbass is part of the Russian federation, they have time to withdraw. I am not paid in roubles. The brutal truth is too hard for some posters. I can take it.
  22. They are all financial refugees these days? Last time I checked before Brexit it looked like a lot were coming out of Syria. A war which the UK was help to other throw Assad, probably the most moderate arab country when it comes to Christians. Russia did not make a declaration of war. It won't matter how many times I post what a declaration of war is nobody reads it because ignorance is bliss.
  23. Yes the USA with 10X the military in Kabul ran to the airport and left everything behind. How's that working out for the US collaborators, being rounded up and executed. Lucky it would never happen in Ukraine, oh wait Ukrainian hit squads are killing Russian occupiers and collaborators - The Washington Post
  24. Walsh said there was only one aggressor. What's next every nefarious act in the world can be blamed on Russia's specially military operation? You got to give the Russian's credit. They are allowing civilian who wants to get out of the fighting zone to get a russian passport and move east. The UK on the other hand doesn't give them a passport and sends them to Rwanda hoping that solves the problem.
  25. So you are saying the Ukrainian's blew up the pipeline and the crimean bridge? I heard it was special ops of another country. Okay then. If its the Ukrainians fair enough the pipe line was half owned by the Germans. They didn't need it anyway. But if its another EU country, I guess they won't mind their infrastructure being blown up with the general plausible deniability.
