It is near impossible for any 2 people to have the same life history re qualification. Number of years employment, wages earned,higher or lower level National Ins payments, child benefit claimant, other benefit claimant, contracted in or out of state scheme, private pension contribution , graduated Pension addition, Serps addition, SSP 2 Addition, voluntary payment's......and the list goes on! The full picture is needed for true comparison.Person forecasts can be obtained online at a yougov site and often any shortfall can be made up voluntarily. As an aside, I had 49 years contributions and had to make extra payment. I was contracted out of state scheme for a time and paid lower Nat Ins. Regards

The government site states passport renewal can take 3 weeks or longer, you weren't too far from that timescale. If you wanted immediate service you can go to passport office in person. Our passports also arrived in separate envelopes, albeit on the same day. Perhaps yhis is a security/safety measure.In total, 10 days from application to receipt of new issue. Pretty good service at a reasonable price.

I agree, recently used this service for passports renewal and thought the service was excellent. I received a copy of the signature immediately upon delivery and confirmation soon thereafter. We'll worth the money.

I have the deerhunter heated vest. I am very disappointed with the performance, even with a powerful battery pack it only lasts a couple of hours at most when on the high or medium setting. On low power it barely lasts a day in the field. I also find the heat generated stays concentrates on the areas of output, whereas I was hoping the heat would help keep me warm allover. I also find it awkward to connect, switch on/off etc as it is worn as bottom layer under jersey,jacket etc. I wouldn't recommend this product for someone who really suffers in cold conditions. As an aside, I haven't been able to find any gloves, socks or jackets that really provide the solution, despite spending considerable sums. Regards

I am in the older pensioner bracket and my state pension is considerably more!. Each case is different and dependant on work and contribution history. I have no bitterness a out paying a small amount of tax, how else will services be provided. Regards

I receive state pension, which I contributed towards for 50 years. I feel no bitterness towards the people who benefited from my contributions. What a sad nation of sour, mean people we have become.

I am in receipt of my State Pension. I do not receive any " various allowances and benefits". I am glad I had the opportunity to pay tax and insurance throughout my 50 years of paid employment. My family are grateful for all the medical treatment, education and security that our tax money contributes towards. My only advice to those still working is to try and provide towards your own retirement and not rely 100% on the state. Regards
