  4. Another yes to opinel. That and a Swiss army knife. Bloody army knife is lethal when you get it right, don't know how many times I've literally skinned myself with those
  5. Why a mac? The fable of macs being best for graphics has always been over blown. Completely limited on what it's been sold with unless you want to change to ssd which has nothing to do with graphics. For the sum you've mentioned you'd get a bloody good desktop with top spec everything via a windows os. Don't get me wrong, Apple have their market and uses but you'll be looking at a 2013 maybe a 2015 model secondhand for that money. And before anybody starts as seems to be the case lately, I've owned both and made a huge mistake of buying a new cheap laptop running Windows 10. Pile of garbage. Yet when running on a friends system who didn't skimp on price (eg £600-700), it's fast as hell. Also if he's taught in uni only via a mac forget everything I've said
  6. If it still works fine and is still for sale I'll have it. Been messing lately with my toys and better make sure they are all still legal! PayPal or bank transfer ok?
  7. I thought sunny weather was suppose to up your vitamin d levels, yet everybody is having a pop at each other lately. Questionable posts aside could we all just have a glass of water and cheer up ?
  8. don't mean to hijack your sale but are you able to post powder? Most I use don't even like batterys or acids?
  9. Such a long cylinder on the fn19. Did consider a reg but after advice on here I didn't bother.
  10. Same. Don't think I've ever tested it out. Never checked fit either. I just get used to what I'm handling after a while. Could be (or will be!) the reason I only score 60-70% on the clays.
  11. 100% Shimmed a few bsa supersports over the years.
  12. That's all I use on mine and a couple of customers. Lasts a few years and you can get a few different colours. Anywhere from £7-10 per 5ltr. If your changing colour of the existing panel it will only do about 4 6ftx6ft as you need 2 coats. Also depends how slap happy you are
  13. Been over yet? That is not acceptable. Ive been watching for the outcome
  14. Didn't fish in the end, others had a few
  15. think that was supposed to be 8 but they scrapped that and went to 10?
  16. yes please for 1 can you send PayPal address thanks matt
  17. usual problem I have if it's the same, is that you update by setting it up to download automatically, I go to restart as it's being slow or some such in another way, then it takes hours (literally) to restart or turn off as it has to apply updates. Bloody hate windows 10 due to little things like this, thinking of getting a windows 7 disc again.
  18. Never had much time if any for gas rams but surely they must be useful at fac levels. Personally I'd go eliminator route too. And to be fair most yanks whoop and shout when they hit a coke can at 30 yards. They just chuck more rounds down stream, the more the better. Not saying they ain't good shots, but when they are using a gamo at 20 odd ftlb it was a **** start to begin with. Quite the divide on the pcp and springer lot on here. Me included ?

if you do go down the tuning kit road I've used tinbum tuning kits and they do smooth things out. Never heard a bad thing said about welshwilly kits either. The tbt kit I think was 30 quid. Could probably find one cheaper if needed or make it yourself

ditchy was doing his mercury up which is far as I can tell is pretty much standard bsa set up pre 2000. But more to the point he lists what to do. Only thing I'd say is be careful of fitting a titan. Great springs but those older meteors don't much like full power, the linkages ect will nacker in the end. Also if you've a mk4 the piston head go's through the buffer rubber into the piston slidey thingy. Point I'm getting at - its held on by a circlip and it comes off a lot, leaving the piston head at the bottom with the only way of getting it out is by a compressed air up the barrel. You can buy a head with a bolt on so this would never happen. Worth getting if its a mk4. strip clean (full of grease and oil) polish all internals new Titan XS spring (as recommended by several folk on the net) new rubber (rebound thingy) new o ring new axis pin new barrel seal
  21. Works a treat. I heard about film canisters with a hole drilled in them but a brush I thought was taking the ****.
  22. well that was a result (kind of) I honestly thought somebody was pulling my leg but these guys I was shooting with the other day insisted on putting a cut down baby bottle brush in my air chamber of my falcon to stop the ping. They had them in their concepts. Well after 2 hours of watching vids on how to strip it down, I put it in and test fired - no more ping! Only issue is the bloody seal is leaking as I didn't tighten it enough. My fault but what a easy fix. I'm well pleased. Anybody else heard of any other weird ways?
