  1. I watched it.....well, tried to. However, I did catch the last few minutes. It was very obvious that he wasn't going to put his hand into that box, for a random question. Did anyone ask about "the boats," I nodded off for most of it?
  2. We already do don't we?!? We just call them life-boats.
  3. I have a Shotkam. Sending you a PM.
  4. At least Trump tries to do what he says, like build a wall at the borders. Unlike our lot. "Stop the boats.".....yeah right.
  5. Yep, sure did. Even an oxo chicken stock cube. Probably just my taste buds. Finished it off for yesterday's lunch (with madras powder in) and it was good.
  6. Easy to prep, cooks nicely, smells really good while cooking and doesn't look too shabby on the plate. However, I found the whole dish bland. Adding some salt and pepper on the plate helped a bit but still not great. I ate half of it because I hate waste and I was hungry. To the leftovers I've added some madras curry powder, to fester over night and will finish it off for lunch today. May be that my tastes are jaded after years of abuse. It reminds me of those tea infusion thingys......smells really nice but tastes insipid. After all of the above, I WILL try it again (as it's easy) but next time I'll try some 'erbs and spices.
  7. Never tried them, are they okay? I like a steamed S and K pudding but CBA to make one myself.
  8. Nope, don't like those either. Going to try it with 3 thighs (cos I'm a pig) and (KTC) chick peas. But whatever used, it looks to be a good "one pot meal."
  9. Think I may try that but with one change.........don't like kidney beans. Substitute red kids for black beans, or maybe (drained) baked beans.
  10. How about, a Miroku MK38 trap 32" but it's a lefty. Just change over your stock.
  11. Is it my laptop or are those beans(?) white?!?

    Battery

Can you (one) date a battery?
  13. I had one of those. It's now in the cupboard next to the sandwich maker, filter coffee thing, nespreso coffee thing, bread maker, a toaster that cooks beans as well etc. The only thing that I've tried and still use is the air-fryer.
  14. They did this to me, quite a few years ago, when I had a "Fronty." It was okay for the drive home when I left the garage/fitters, but the next day when I went into 4 wheel drive....it was undrivable. Took it back for a refund, but, (surprise suprise) they managed to find 4 the same.
  15. Leftover spuds and veg fried up. Fry in butter and let it catch, so as to get the tasty burnt bits. Plus, cold meat/s and pickles.
  16. You can buy and mix your own in Morrisons salad bar. Rice, potatoe, pasta, etc.

    Tattoo's??

I know it's "each to their own" but what makes you have one in the first place, do you think they look nice? Do they hurt?
  18. Wow, that's a good deal then. A bit like the one I saw in Morrisons. Chickens £3.50 each or two for £8.
  19. I used to live on a boat a few years ago. Before setting off, I asked my FLO this question. He said that provided the gun was made secure, it wouldn't be a problem. BUT, I would need to notify the local police, if I stayed in different counties for any length of time.......so I didn't bother and gave up my SGC until I returned back to land.

    Wham

That's quite good for you, Ditchy. 🤣
  21. I think these are very good, but I put them in the deep fat fryer.
  22. And here's me thinking that this thread was about "fat Sarah."
  23. Liver, bacon and onions with mash and one veg. I like it with any liver apart from chicken livers. Supermarket liver seems to be tiny little strips, so get mine from the butchers. Thanks for helping me decide on what to have tonight.
  24. Mine is VERY slow. So slow in fact, that I just had a notification that Hitler's invaded Poland. 🙄
  25. If they're white, they don't count..........or so it seems. The owner of my local Indian restaurant says that he can't be classed as racist as he is Indian.
