  1. https://basc.org.uk/blog/press-releases/latest-news/membership-hits-a-record-breaking-150000/ A very good point. 10% response is not that huge

  3. A chap has posted a thread about it now here:
  4. I'm not quite sure I understand what you issue is
  5. Absolutely, it's a real opportunity to get voices heard that are so often ignored.
  6. Doesn't have to be direct cause and effect. Showing damaged crops suggests pest control is necessary.
  7. Anyone with evidence regarding issues caused by the revocation of the general license please get in touch with Defra via the following link: https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/use-of-general-licences-for-the-management-of-certain-wild-birds-a-call-for-evidence
  8. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Chris-Packhams-Two-Headed-Tadpole-Excellent-condition/382926130934 Chris has decided to sell his 'woodcock' to raise money for Wild Justice...
  9. You'd not go far wrong with a Beretta Silver Pigeon, Browning 525 or Miroku MK38. Most importantly, pick the one that fits!
  10. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/04/25/dead-birds-tied-chris-packhams-fence-farmers-pest-controllers/ This article just popped up on 'Trending' on my iphone. Not ideal!
  11. Absolutely spot on. The mind boggles how someone in the community thought this is a sensible response. All it does it give ammunition to the opposition to use against us and undermines any reasoned and well thought out argument presented in support of shooting under the general license. In the grand scheme of news worthy stories, more papers will be interested in this than the plight for crop protection. A massive case of shooting oneself in the foot.
  12. Interesting from the chairman of Natural England: He seems rather anti the legal challenge by Packham
