Does anyone know of, or have, any land available for rough shooting in and around Wiltshire, Avon or North Somerset? I'm open to anything really. I've been shooting since I was 15 (that was quite some time ago!), SGC holder and BASC & CPSA member. More than happy to remunerate with cash or alcohol 😊

If you're just fixing to the plasterboard, surely the weakness is the plasterboard itself? It wouldn't take much to cut around the outline of the cabinet and take the whole thing.

Not really, bought from auction in January of this year. 12 Bore, non-ejector, as basic as they come. I know that when the apocalypse comes, everything but cockroaches and my boxlock will cease to function.

I got lucky i think. I have spent a few hours on the woodwork and had the barrels reblacked. I just missed out on an AYA No2 sidelock which went for £340 at the same auction it was a lovely gun. -

It’s a Gorosabel Silver Deluxe. Bought at auction in Feb for £30 + buyers premium of £7. Such a lot of gun for the money. -

I love a nice sbs, especially when you can pick them up for the prices you see these days. -

These were from the-saleroom.com Worth remembering that whichever auction you buy from on that site, you need to go and pick the gun up personally...I've almost fallen into a trap of driving from Wiltshire to West Glamorgan when I got carried away bidding.

Second pic is a Gorosabel Silver Deluxe - for the grand price of £37 from auction. Third pic is a 1920 T.Wilde which is currently in pieces. Bought as a gun to practice my woodworking skills on. (£50 from auction) I'll let my wife know we're not going on holiday this year then...or possibly eating too.

I've had my cert for a grand total of 4 weeks, and in that time I've bought enough guns to fill my 3 gun cabinet. I need to ban myself from visiting online auction sites. Does gun buying stop, or do I need to wait until I run out of money?
