    Fx drs,

    Nothing wrong with fx liners
  2. Impact will do 100 with ease but like always the person behind the trigger is the weakest link Mk11 impact .25 110 & 115 yards 5 shot groups
  3. I can only shoot between November & March because it a caravan & camping park with 300 acres of woodland which is open to the caravan / camping public in those times
  4. Arken Zulus but for ratting wait for a few weeks when 3-12 comes out . You can buy 940 or pill to go in them as well . Also the multi spectrum scope is coming very shortly Day , night vision & thermal
  5. Well I shoot around 250 from the 1st November 31 march all with wheat in 9 different feeders These scopes are a game changer 👍🏻 Yes when there is plenty of natural food about then wheat is second best but come mid November they are on it
  6. Wheat has always worked for me . Normally shoot at least ten in couple of hours each time I go
  7. Definitely go for it . I have.25 running @ 72 ftlbs about 975 fps with 34 gr slug & crown running at 42 ftlbs about 950 fps with 21 gr slug or 45 ftlbs with 25.4 gr My groups with .25 34 gr slug at 110 yards time after time
  8. I think you find in new guns the liner will shoot slugs and pellets
  9. BC .25 is. Better than a .22
  10. Nice but I still prefer walnut stock , proper wood
  11. That is with my .25 impact sniper 700 mm barrel
  12. Shooting my .25 @ 970-980 fps with 33 gr still getting about 60ish shots per fill . Slugs are the way to go after 100 yards or so . Yes they can bounce, but most slugs have a nice big cavity which helps to deform nicely. . Even pellets will bounce around as well , I say more so than most slugs
  13. Looking for 223 which one ?
  14. I have t1x 17 HMR and CZ 457 .22 Cz 457 is so accurate with most ammo at 100 yards . Use Norma subs and eley subs . If I had my choice again in 17 HMR then I definitely would go CZ
  15. I have the exact one just don’t no why more don’t use ffp scopes 🤷🏻‍♂️ . Works absolutely perfect , great if you use something like a pard 007
  16. Get the best you can afford . It also depends if your going to use it rabbit shooting , if so you will need something to spot out to 100 or so yards

To me it would be my FAC.22 crown which will shoot slugs at 950 fps . 18 gr pellet @ 925 fps , 16gr pellet from 570 - 900 fps just by adjusting one power wheel and all this can be done in seconds including adjusting scope I do have all set ups mapped out

    Totally spot on
  19. Crown , the new wildcat & maverick all easy adjustable. Just make sure you take not of factory settings, so if needed you can go back to them . I have impact .25 & crown .22 both FAC both have been tuned by Airfective by installing heavy hammer weight and showing me how to tune it .That was 5 years ago and both still perfect plus I tune it for different slugs and pellets, with out touching the reg at all , imo you don’t need to . Reg on the impact 130 bar & crown 155 bar I can take the crown from 42 fpe down to sub 12 using slugs , pellets & the wheel with in seconds including adjusting the scope impact from 80fpe down 45 fpe using slugs , pellets
  20. I am finding 15.9 hades are better at that speed . I need about 950 fps to shoot 18 gr in my crown
  21. Never heard a bad thing said about hawke. Had a airmax scope which was at least 12 years old went wrong , never had a receipt but offered me a new one for half price
  22. On the thermal Facebook page they rave about them & they sell them for £300 or the T3 for £450 which are very good
  23. Might be a bit of dirt in the fill port or valve . Had it with mine stripped it down good clean then regressed , perfect again
