    FINALLY!!

I'm having a shroud with internal baffler fitted so I've only been up at a friends farm plinking but when I get her back I shall post my very first groupings regardless of how good they are, or not lol
  2. Was offered a full carbon shroud instead of the 1/2 unf adaptor with a silencer and save £10, and have QD sling swivels attached to the stock and a pic rail with free sling.
  3. Hey guys, anyone had any experience with this company, good or bad?

Ok fair point, my local rfd doesn't charge anything to receive anything gun related, I'm in Cornwall, not sure your location?

    FINALLY!!

That you are sir, that you are, I'm waiting off of air fective as this may be a cheaper option for me: http://air-fectivetuning.co.uk/store/product/fx-wildcat-full-carbon-shroud If not, how do we do business, pay pal?

    FINALLY!!

I'm going to add a mod, probably a Huggett Belita, when I go hunting for the first time I'll check the sound but it is fairly quiet anyway to be fair, the scope is a cracker, Optisan EVX 3-12x44ir, absolutely love it, as soon as I zero I'll send pics, beware this is my 1st air rifle so ? expect too tighter groups but I'll try my best.

    FINALLY!!

At last got the FX and I'm very happy, and I'm more happier that I adjusted the scope for sighting in etc, taking her out to a friends farm on Wednesday to zero and plink a little and then to the range on Thursday, super super happy. ?
  11. Hey guys, quick update on my perilous journey into buying my first Air gun, basically was waiting for an FX Crown, viewed back and reflected on what a lot of you Gus said, especially from a few of you guys (you know who you are) and as ASI were being a massive pain over the crown especially I've decided on a Wildcat MKII in .177, synthetic stock and buying very local to me as well, I'm adding an Optisan 3-12x44 scope and cannot be happier. If anyone knows whats best to add a sling/bipod then please let me know, was thinking of adding a pic rail, or may just opt for the single swivel stud for bipod and attach a sling to that when out in the field, got a perm set up as well in a few weeks after several tins of pellets used on the range, I've got a tin of JSB test tin, has anyone had experience with the smooth twist barrel and what it prefers? ?
  12. yeah to be fair they seem best value around and many options too, and chairgun at the moment I don't understand but I'm sure I will when I start to use it.
  13. just wondering if you've used an app called Strelok before, bit like chair gun but simpler apparently.
  14. Shot the AA s510 tdr yesterday and absolutely loved the gun, surprisingly the stock too, and that mag is great to use too, probably better than any other mag I have certainly used imho
  15. On that not today I tried a huntsman regal having never liked the traditional beech or walnut stocks, I absolutely loved the gun, light easy to shoot and very accurate, also tried out the Air Arms S510 TDR, very nice and very unique being able to "together" the gun before you shoot, both really nice guns. shot the regal today, well yesterday now, and fell in love with it, I'm waiting for the Crown another 2 weeks and the guys at local club are great in letting me shoot some of their different guns but I cant wait that long tbh, may pull the trigger on the regal or s510 tdr to keep me going
  16. That's actually a really good shout, but it is a lot lighter, shorter than most other pcp's for when I get to use it around a farm, carrying it around for a few hours too, but again the shot count is pretty low but as an hunting rifle this should be plenty, and of course as you've said, the ability to "together" the rifle before you shoot is a cool idea, even if it is a novelty. I was just gonna say that, start with a pcp then challenge myself with a springer and see where I'm at..
  17. I just find shooting with a magazine is easier and simpler but I also like cocking a springer and the whole loading idea is great but for me gets tedious very quickly. But agree totally on shot count, I don't half go through some pellets and that's only shooting a members gun with me being respectful.
  18. This is what bugs the **** outa me when people say that cos I'm new, it makes no difference other than it has ever so slightly more recoil, so yes I get the point but it's not gonna make anyone a better shooter. this is my opinion anyway and having shot both kinds over the last month or so, maybe also to do with the fact that you take your eye off the target every time obviously, but my eye isn't always on the target shooting a pcp anyway....
  19. get off your high horse and go and annoy someone else for a change, you're a little wee man sitting behind a little wee desk, now go and play with your little wee pistol.
  20. and there he is again, trying to bring people down, a little keyboard warrior comes out to play, ive had a lot of good advice on here and a lot of ****, and yours sir have been nothing but ****
  21. Yes definitely be using in the future NV for ratting and rabbits.
  22. so you can recommend, what is about the AO that people rave about, is it solely for easy eye relief?
  23. don't be like that, I love guns, I have GAS seriously, I need to stop looking at the *******, but seriously I cant wait a month until the fx turns up without shooting, and learning of course, fancy going up local club with an fx crown with no clue what I'm doing, lol. gotta get the practice in
