Just seen this, a few of us went too, for a small show it was very good, its improving with the years although it's the 1st dry day in past two years I've been 😂

As has previously been mentioned its abit different with Clay's so swap your barrels/chokes so your shooting half first then quter, take the bird further out and if you miss use your more open choke to bring the bird down as they are now closer 👍

Im not sure if anyone has all they need or would like to help me out but I would like a deer! As it comes out of the field skin on as fresh as can be northwest but would be willing to travel abit. Obviously willing to pay, not sure what that would be but let me know. I've been a keen shot all my life and have took great pleasure in skinning rabbits and dressing birds over the years for the table and would have loved to have stumbled on a permission with deer opportunity and apply for fac but this is something that has never materialised yet and I would like to dip my toe in with this! Managed it! Got a set of alan paine crombrook tweeds in forest green. Breeks waistcoat and cap for £194. Chuffed! Anyway, next question! This is my first set of breeks and I have a question on socks. I wear wellies... socks with gaiters or without? Do the tassels tuck in or go on top. Every gun I know that wears breeks wear boots.. Thanks

I fancy a new tweed set for this season that wont break the bank. I like the alan paine rutland and combrook. It's on sale in lots of online places at half price (that's what's got me looking).
