Hi all, new to the forum - I hope this post is okay? We are looking for beaters and picker ups for the coming season on a small shoot near Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. We have a small driven mixed Partridge and Pheasant shoot, shooting 7 days throughout the season averaging 50 birds. It is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with guns and beaters of mixed ages and backgrounds. Form of the day: 8am - Bacon and or sausage rolls and coffee 11am - Elevenses including drinks 2.30pm - Full pub lunch including drinks All the above would be paid by the shoot for the beaters and picker ups. At the end of the season we have a beaters day, and a further walk one stand one day where all guns, beaters and picker ups are welcome. Experience not necessarily required, but enthusiasm and fitness definitely is. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Any questions welcomed, thank you.
