The shotgun can be collected from me in Wandsworth or I can deliver it to Bisley. Alternatively, an RFD transfer can be arranged for an additional fee. £300
  2. Westley Richards commercial made Long Lee Enfield MK I. This is the civilian version that is identical to the military rifle of the 1890's only it was sold to civilians not the military. It has been inspected by the government to confirm it meets military specifications including the volley sights and magazine cut off. Matching bolt and excellent condition overall with good shooting bore. Half cock still functions as a safety but no longer prevents the bolt from opening. Can be collected in Wandsworth or Bisley or shipped to an RFD for a small fee. £900
  3. https://flic.kr/s/aHsmWfqYAq (Pictures were too big for pigeon watch) Voere 908 copy of the K98k. These rifles were made by Voere, in Germany, who took surplus Mauser 98 actions and re-barreled and re-stocked them in the 1970's. The barrels were the same length as the K98k but made to higher 1970's peacetime standards. This rifle is perfect for anyone who wants a rifle that shoots like a brand new K98k without the cost of one. Chambered in the same 7.92x57 Mauser as the original and comes with 5 stripper clips and a sling. £650 and can be collected in Clapham or from Bisley or sent to an RFD for a bit extra.
  4. Titanium nitride has been used in the firearms business for many years including in many high-level competition guns that fire thousands of rounds very quickly. These shooters have reported less wear on the guns or they wouldn't keep doing. In America, there are whole businesses that offer it as a service so I don't think it has any detrimental effects. It's a shame that no one in the UK seems to offer it as a service.
  5. Oh, there are loads of companies that offer it in the UK but I can't find any that are able/willing to accept firearms components. That is why I was wondering if anyone knew of any.
  6. I am interested in getting some of the hard wearing parts of my guns coated in Titanium Nitride to strengthen them. This seems to be a fairly standard procedure in America but can't seem to find anyone who offers the service in the UK. Does anyone know of anywhere it can be done?
  7. I couldn't find any plans does anyone know the dimensions by any chance? Like the distance the shot falls before hitting the ramp?
  8. That's very helpful thank you so much they came through fine.
  9. I have heard people saying that Steve Hughes design of shotmaker is much simpler and better than what is on offer today. Does anyone know if they are still available for purchase or failing that does anyone have a picture of one or design specs for attempting to make something similar oneself?
