My farmer friend has sown a field of beans , the type to be cattle feed. They are just starting to shoot now . Could anyone tell me when the pigeons are likely to hit them.

when pigeons are on rape stubble what are they eating spilled seed or new growth a few days later

I have never tried evening pigeon decoying as I live 80 miles round trip to my farm. Is it worth a trip out after work next week now the rape has been cut ?maybe between 5 and 8 pm
