Andy RV .cartridge 223 Rem.Bullet 50grin v max.case Lapua . Powder n120. Starting load 19.3 Max load 22.7grins. I loaded 21.0 grins very accurate in fact 3 shot at 100 yds touching.But noticed small crater on primer Cci400. Same thing happened when I tried benchrest primers Reduced load to 20.5 then.20 grns. Then min load of 19.3 still light crater mark. No other pressure problems. Would be interesting if anyone had similar problems.

I used reloaded 15 for many years loading 243 and 223 no problems. I have now changed to Vihtavuori 120.Papua cases. Starting load 19.3 grins Max22.7 grns. Starting at 21.5 grins very accurate but primer showed crater.Reduced to 21.grins then 20 and now 19.3 grins primer still shows slight crater.Help please .Alpine

Just to recap, last weekend I received the ultrasonic cleaner. Have ordered Birchwood case cleaner from local gun shop but have not received it to date. On receiving the ultrasonic last Saturday 15th Sep tried it on a few cases,they cleaned up but still had dirt in primer pockets and crud inside cases (once fired Lapula ) it will be interesting to see results with case cleaner added.Sorry to bring up an old subject ,but the 15th was first time I had used Panasonic's .I have been shooting full bore fifles for 30 years . Cleaning cases with vibration cleaner and corn Cobb.

Reading with great interest 're case cleaning ,I have just purchased a ultrasonic cleaner and my local gun shop as ordered me some Birchwood case cleaner. It arrived Saturday am so put water in and 10 one fired Lapual cases.7 min run primer pockets a bit cleaner and outer case cleaner,but crud still inside.it will be interesting to see results with cleaner added.
