  1. About 14" The original LOP for the time would have been 14". The LOP for the 16ga was increased to 14.1/4" in 1931.
  2. It won't be winning any beauty contests but given it's age that can be forgiven. Made in Belgium, this gun is coming up on it's 95th birthday, and will easily outlive all of us. An opportunity for you to own a piece of fine Browning history, in a classic gauge. As usual on older A5s the forend has cracked at the back, nearest to the action. This has been well repaired with epoxy. Serial number places this gun in 1929. A nice 27" barrel with a solid rib. Not easy to find a 16 bore A5 with a rib of this age. The barrel is from a 1937 gun. Marked for full choke. Chambered to 2.9/16". You can get cartridges in this size. In fact Eley use this size case for their 16 bore cartridges. No speedload feature - the gun predates the invention of the 2 piece A5 lifter. If you do find a 2 piece lifter for a 16 bore you can swap this in. Section 2. 3 shots only. £300 firm. I will include 50 cartridges with the gun. Collection only near Dartford. Happy to meet at a local clay shoot to sell it to you. Any questions or requests for more photos, please ask.
  3. As per the title, I'm looking for a 16 bore load for 32g of shot that takes a fibre wad. I'm struggling as almost all loads are for a plastic wad.
  4. Invector plus full choke for a 20 bore. Flush fit With the Browning plastic tube. Good used condition. £35 posted or collection Dartford
  5. Lates 1970's model Miroku 800 with very good condition woodwork and good recoil pad. 30" barrels with 8mm parallel rib. Game fit stock with good sharp checkering. 1/4 and 1/4 choke, ideal for all round use. 2.3/4" chambers Barrels have been reblued and the centre bead has been removed. Some minor spots of missing bluing on the action. Good first gun for the price. By no means perfect but ideal for use in the hide or for rough shooting. Selling as I've got myself a nicer miroku that I shoot better with. For collection only at Dartford. Happy to meet at Dartford clay pigeon shooting club for the sale. Shotgun Certificate required £450 Any questions please ask
  6. I'm looking for a set of friction rings from a Browning A5, Franchi or Breda. I'd also be interested in any other A5 parts. Kent based but will pay shipping.
  7. Do you have any more photos? Specifically of the front of it?
  8. I'm looking for a short tang trigger guard to fit the Browning 325/525 or Miroku Mk38/MK60/Mk70 range of guns. I'm not overly fussed about condition
  9. I'm looking for a short tang trigger guard to fit the Browning 325/525 or Miroku Mk38/MK60/Mk70 range of guns. I'm not overly fussed about condition
  10. Can anybody recommend a gunsmith or gunfitter that can convert a semi-pistol grip to a round-knob/Prince of Wales grip? I'm looking to convert a Miroku stock with a semi-pistol grip to a Browning style round knob stock. I don't want to pay an absolute fortune for it. A few hundred pounds is more the budget I'm aiming for.
  11. Is that Kelbrook shooting ground? Or is there a ground called Kelwood? I've not heard of Kelwood before.
  12. I'm looking for a Browning/Miroku stock from the 325/525/ultra/mk38 line of guns. Preferably short tang. I don't care about the condition and would prefer a poor quality or damaged stock to something grade 5.
  13. Looking for stocks and fore-ends for Browning Auto Five magnums. I'm particularly keen to get hold of a synthetic stock and fore-end.
  14. Midway UK were bought by Brownells and the Brownells policy is much stricter regarding shipping to the UK. They sell UK stock items only and won't ship anything that is in their US store to the UK.
  15. Both Midway and Brownells refuse to ship synthetic A5 stocks to the UK. They don't keep UK stock and their American sites won't ship anything to the UK. I've also emailed Ramline directly but they won't ship anything out the UK to an individual. They'll only deal with registered importers.
  16. Does anybody know where I'd be able to get a plastic stock set for a browning auto five? I'm specifically looking for a set to fit a magnum A5. The fore-ends were often made with spacers in to be removed for magnum guns. These stock sets are readily available in America for around $90 but none of the companies selling them are willing to ship to the UK. I've been looking for many months and I'm yet to find somebody in the UK that sells them. Would anybody be able to recommend somebody or help?
  17. Hello, I've been reading the pigeonwatch forums for a while and decided that it was time to make an account.
