  1. I got myself a 'tall' bucket seat not so long ago for this exact reason thus I sit and can easily stand to take the shot
  2. Thanks lads. The reason I've put up the question is because a farmer friend of mine has a good supply of wild teal fighting his dykes in winter so I got to thinking ( as you do ) about breeding a few to have as call ducks but never heard of anyone doing it so thought I'd ask the PW fountain of knowledge
  3. Has anyone had a go at breeding teal and releasing them or even making an area attractive for wild ones to breed? Thanks in advance lads
  4. World has gone nuts, the best for me is the amount of furries going through the schools ( if that's how to spell their title )
  5. That's fab, but it's definitely a 50/50 idea
  6. I was thinking I used to suffer from cramps from time to time so on a big day shoot + pub I take a magnesium tablet in the morning, dunno if its a placebo effect but it to works
  7. Fair point sir, might have a trip one day after the premium bonds come up with more than £25
  8. Grisport Decoy Mens Walking Boot Black Waxed Leather | Grisport UK Leather Gamekeeper Sporting Boots | FREE UK Delivery | Grisport Both these boots are spot on lads, so comfy from day 1 and last as good as others out there at a fraction of the cost
  9. I'm sure a turbo for a Range Rover is going to cost way more than £535 but for the extra add on premium I thought it was a good deal, especially if you consider on the add on you can have multiple cars and family members as passengers in other cars
  10. Just giving you lot the heads up that with the AA breakdown you can now add cars to cover parts & labour costs up to £500 a chuck, which I thought offers great value in todays economical situation
  11. First I'd be looking at a burst in this cold weather and after that its spanners and some diy or a plumber to figure it out; good luck
  12. I thought the new 20 & 15 mins zone were far more reaching, here is one example ( just the 1st one that came up on a Google search ( I actually read the European directive some months ago )) but a word of caution please be sitting down and not operating machinery when you read it as it's going to be rolled out I'm led to believe 😅 15 minute city plans cause controversy – The Oxford Student
  13. Another vote for Gamebore SS 3's like others its all I use. Consider choke selection depending on range/spread you want
  14. I looked at 3D printing when it first came out but have had no luck with normal printers never mind 3D ones 🙂 but do like mushrooms, gourmet or wonky out of Morrisons
  15. Welcome and PW is a fountain of knowledge, but, what can you educate us on that we don't know? 🙂
  16. Good job, why not make a matching shot glass holder for 8 glasses for a tot of port to get the day off to a good start
  17. I don't know what has killed them but I've seen a lot of partridge carcass this last season but would agree pheasants ain't as tuff a partridge
  18. In all fairness, as much as I love pulling the trigger I also still enjoy very much all the aspects of a day in the field but agreed if the shooting goes well it is the cherry on the cake
  19. Obfuscation is also a powerful tool for the hoi polloi
  20. My shoot bus ( Honda CRV ( has picnic table in the boot as standard )) cloth might have to be vetbed and wine glasses I'm reluctant to admit are multi function reusable plastic ones while in the field but do supply quality snacks and refreshments sir 😇

    Doctors

Don't worry too much big man, no-one knows anything at the minute apart from your doctor has a hunch, once you have the tests/pictures taken then you will have an idea what your dealing with, but non-the-less good luck sir
  22. Less people will turn out to vote for sure because half way to the polling station will will have forgot ID and will never make 2 trips; IMO
  23. I try and take a mate who has all the gear with no idea, they aren't common but are about and they love buying gear ( and obviously carrying it) in return for a trip out
