  1. Thanks guys, after visiting my local gun shop I'm going to go for the wildcat predator- So just waiting for the variation to come back. More importantly my dog has got his hearing back Phil
  2. Hi guys, having just temporarily (hopefully-vet advice to follow) deafened my dog whilst stalking ( the first time he has been out with me - poor little ******!! ), I need to buy a moderator for my .243. So my question is, from your experience, which is the most effective moderator at the shooters end ( I am not bothered about the quarry as I only shoot one animal at a time). Thanks in advance. Phil
  3. Fantastic car I've had mine for three years and had no problems it copes with driving in muddy fields etc and tows well - my wife uses it to tow a hose trailer with two large ponies in it.
  4. Hi big thug, its worth going back and taking the aptitude exam this then gives you a place to start. Choose the trade that you want - do NOT agree to join up as a different trade in the hope of changing once in --it VERY rarely happens. Once you have decided do not accept a different trade if you have the aptitude score and qualifications required. At the moment the air force is recruiting in nearly every trade, however every area has targets to meet! However somtimes it is just that they can tell if someone is unsuitable due to experience. God luck, its not every ones cup of tea and people are leaving in droves, but things are improving and if you put in plenty of enthusiasm you can get a lot back-its not just about the pay its the benefits that go with it -Pension etc. One last thing if you are going for aircrew get as fit as you can -just running and circuit training no weight training required, because they get beasted to ****. Phil
