  1. Yea you’re being to negative. IMO. All it takes is for people to stand up and fight for what we love… the saying goes something like :- all it takes for evil to prevail is a good man to stand by and say nothing.

    Coronation.

What you need to bare in mind is your absolute minimum holiday entitlement is 28 days that can include bank holidays or exclude them so you get 28 holiday including bank holidays or 28 days + bank holidays (as a minImum) most companies include bh’s as it works out better for them. What companies can’t do is turn one of the 20 remaining days into an extra bank holiday! Because we have 9 bh’s this year that means your minimum entitlement is 29 days holiday. Obviously feel free to check that with someone that is qualified in legal matters. I certainly wouldn’t rely on the screenshot that you’ve included as that relates to a standard year of 8 bank holidays and nothing else. Even if your contract states bank holidays are not recognised and are normal working days you still get 28 days leave as a minimum.
  3. Phone round all your local scaffolding companies, they all scrap vast amounts of poles for various reasons. A few phone calls and you’ll be able to put your hands on as many poles and boards as you could ever wish for (for a few obviously)
  4. Probably have backup to cloud activated, it will be in phone setting somewhere
  5. Decent trousers I have a couple pairs of the fleece lined ones 👌🏻 @ditchman percussion is the brand 👍🏻
  6. 4 last night with an hw95 & pard007 combo, on my shoots flight pond Total - 552
  7. I’d take advice from a decent financial advisor that knows stocks and shares, and invest it that way. You have to understand that they can go up and down etc and work out the best places to put the money, but it’s nice when dividend payments come in (some quarterly some bi-annually) I recently moved on some shares and re invested elsewhere taking an 11% profit on the sale more than the 11% if you include dividend payments. The wife recently had a bi annual dividend payment circa £350 on a circa £10k holding. Won’t find those figures on any bank account that I’ve heard of.
  8. I appreciate your question is distance specific, but for the purpose of what I’m going to say distance is irrelevant to me :- after hearing the crack from my sub 12 pcp in open space I will always use a moderator for the sake of my ears and anyone else around me. In my eyes just the sensible thing to do.
  9. Not sure what the abbreviations are but if the question is……is a mod necessary on a sub 12 then I would say yes. My .22 bsa r10 is massively quieter with the mod on than without . if that’s not the general gist of the question the. My apologies and I’ll leave it to those that know better.
  10. Another cracking video Simon 👏🏻 thanks for posting 👍🏻
  11. To answer your question :- no they should not have priority over takeaway. now for the opinion :- as far as I am concerned orders should be processed in the order that they come in and if the restaurant knew they where heavy on orders and you would endure a wait beyond normal operation times you should have been informed before being seated, I also believe that making a complaint due to what you perceive as lack of service is fair and just as too is removing any tip/ gratuity or service charge from the bill. but, that is where it ends “telling” a business owner or server etc what to do and what to knock off etc as “compensation” is a disgusting way to behave and had it been me serving you you would have received your bill in it’s entirety and then been politely asked to never return. i am intrigued to know why you feel you should be bumped ahead of the queue though?
  12. Welcome, enjoy the forum. Plenty to read on here
  13. Welcome, You’ll find plenty of useful information on here mate and no doubt a few will want to pick your brains on the corvids, Ive seen a few posts on here of people struggling to get amongst corvids and bring the numbers down.
  14. Another way around it would be for them to gift you an N.V. unit and ammunition (as payment)
  15. I’d get the current motor detailed with paint correction so they don’t knock the p/ex value, I believe you can get self healing ppf but you’d need to have a Google to confirm.
  16. Seems to be quite a lot of speculation and misinformation on this thread, So to clear this up. The police are there to enforce law and legislation, they are not there to make it up as they go along. They can interpret however they like but it does NOT make them correct. FACT :- 3d number plates are perfectly legal providing they are made to British standard. and the link to the irrefutable answer should any one choose look. https://www.gov.uk/displaying-number-plates/rules-number-plates

I’ll pm as don’t want to disrupt someone else’s post 👍🏻
  18. Short and sweet but what an afternoon that must have been, well done 👏🏻
  19. I have a Hoggs of fife struther (long) smock and find it very comfortable, easy to get on/off as it has zips down both sides. decent sized pockets, nice sized hood that accommodates wearing a hat with enough over hang to shield face from rain/wind. May be worth a look
  20. Nothing wrong with a change now and again, keeps us on our toes and keeps the ole grey matter going, hopefully you’ll get the photon on and post some videos of your exploits on the rats! Good luck 👍🏻

Is it only beretta that you’re looking at?
  23. And that will teach me to rub the two brains cells together whilst reading 🤦‍♂️🤣
  24. I could obviously be very wrong but it’s unlikely in my opinion that any bipod is going to be more stable than a tripod. I’m intrigued to see other more knowledgeable opinions.
  25. Can we as sgc/fac holders add any weight to the official complaint that has been made? absolutely disgusting that they have insinuated that those vetted and deemed acceptable (by them) to hold shotguns/firearms etc are responsible for criminals holding them illegally.
