  1. You do have keys, you just don’t have ignition to put them in, transponder in the key sends a signal so that you can press the button to start the car 👍🏻
  2. The shop can’t show the footage due to Gdpr laws/rules. id be informing the police, hit and run/ leaving the scene of an accident is an criminal offence. as for taking the mirror off to check….get on YouTube and you’ll likely find a video explaining how to do it properly. 👍🏻

    ANNIVERSARY

Huge achievement for both of you! Congratulations. I hope I make it to 68 let alone married for 68, im currently coming up for 38 and 4 years married (10 years together) …..maybe I should stop winding the wife up on a daily basis 🤣. hope you have a lovely time celebrating 🥳
  4. @outlander I follow a guy on instagram(I don’t know him personally ) that does a lot of ratting with his terriers and I’m sure he’s based over that way….I could ask a question for you if you like and maybe get some contact details?
  5. I had an 09 plate kuga 2.0 tdci 4x4 titanium spec and loved it, very comfortable, capable off-road. Very reliable, drove it to lake Garda and back fully loaded with no issues at all. Sold it at 145000 miles when I upgraded to a ranger wild track 1.5 years ago and as far as I’m aware it’s still going strong now.
  6. Breach of contract is the first thing that springs into my mind. Once the booking is made and the funds have been transferred a contract exists. If it was paid by credit card you may find that the transaction is covered and the insurance that comes with using a card may pay for alternative accommodation, you’d need to check that though. I’d also be sending the vendor and air bnb a strongly worded email mentioning trading standards and small claims court to recover additional expenses.
  7. My two pence. I agree with most of the above. What your “friend” has done is underhand and quite frankly disgusting behaviour. I would have one of two responses again much the same as above. 1) cough up the £50 but tell him he’s out of order and should have mentioned costs ahead of time, and not to invite you in future. 2) tell him no chance with regards to the £50 and tell him he’s out of order and that an invite is exactly that, he should have been clear and honest about any cost when the invitation was made. I suppose a third option would be to invite him and his other half round for dinner and then charge him £50 a head after the fact and see how he likes it on the other foot……I can be a bit sadistic so I’d maybe go with this one just to see the look on his face 😊 3)
  8. I would hazard a guess at no livestock present and a distances to livestock being a rather large can of worms, one which has unlikely to have been opened in a court of law. The type of fences separating the fields and wether a dog that is not under control can easily pass under/over it negates distance in my opinion. A dog that goes rogue and chooses to ignore you will cover three fields before you will cover one. which of course then begs the question you have asked - can a farmer shoot a dog where no livestock is present…….who decides what “present” is? edit to say, I’m playing devils advocate because I’m intrigued by the correct and legal answer to this question myself.
  9. Or it could just be that the dog was not on the public footpath as agriv8 said himself, it was working 20/30ft either side and therefore in private land without permission (trespassing) working the dog on private land you don’t have permission to be on again trespassing. We as shooters and country folk should know better than anyone that you shouldn’t be on land where your not meant to be. Look at how many posts on this very forum mention dog walkers off the footpath etc. @Agriv8 please don’t take my post as a dig at you, it’s not the case I’m just pointing out that the situation is more complex than a farmers daughter with the hump. you clearly demonstrate that you have control of your dog and are responsible around livestock etc but it doesn’t change the fact that the dog was not on the path.
  10. Nice little read 👌🏻. Thanks for posting
  11. Agreed the previous owner/gun shop should have demonstrated…..maybe they did, maybe the op forgot. End of the day everyone has to start somewhere and at least the sensible thing has happened….some research and asked the question of those that may be able to help. Could have quite easily got frustrated/not wanted to ask a “stupid question” and put it in the slip/ car / cabinet with two in the mag 🤷‍♂️
  12. Excellent condition girls tweed coat ages 6 to 7 (according to website sizing guide) £15 collection preferred from cm8 but can organise postage at buyers expense
  13. I saw this via a different outlet earlier today and was absolutely gobsmacked at the amount of people that commented on it defending this vile piece of scum and his actions!
  14. Does it not have the Mitsubishi 5 year warranty? have you checked the fuses? Cabling that normally runs underneath truck and then into the loom further forward on the vehicle ( may be a break in the cable)
  15. Let’s be honest the world went nut’s years ago when packets of nuts had the label’s “may contain nuts” and “cannot guarantee nut free, produced in a factory that handles nuts” added to them.
  16. From the reading that I’ve done which isn’t a great deal as I soon realised it didn’t effect my position in virgin galactic, I believe the port in Cornwall is owned and operated by the local council, it is used (no doubt under contract) by virgin orbit amongst other space based companies, from my earlier post virgin orbit have filed for chapter 11. I have heard about the furloughed staff but would assume a) it’s only the virgin orbit staff* or b) the council and other companies at the port have had all of their eggs in one basket (working alongside virgin orbit) and are also furloughed. * the virgin orbit staff being furloughed and therefore paid in one way or another is a far better option to allow re jigging of the company and assets than an out right lay off of all staff. I’ve included a link below that will give you the rundown on the Cornwall port and who owns it and who is based there etc :- https://spaceportcornwall.com/about/
  17. 🤣🤣🤣 I’m 37 mate i don’t get any pension, so I’m paying yours and to have my windows cleaned 😛 my time is far better used elsewhere than scrubbing windows to a sparkle.
  18. Lol I’m in full agreement Ditchy, you wouldn’t catch me boarding one even if I was paid. but still the truth and facts should be known. Although everyone can feel free to crack on with the story….no skin off my nose
  19. The local car wash always seems to get mine sparkly clean on the inside of the front three windows for and extra couple of quid
  20. Time to do some tidying up of facts. Continue reading for the long read/skip to the bottom for the facts :- Richard Branson :- is a man (I assume….not heard that he identifies as a toaster or any other inanimate object) and not a company. he is not bankrupt nor filling for bankruptcy anywhere to my knowledge. Virgin orbit :- a COMPANY 75% ownership belonging to Virgin group (another company) , This firm develops launch services for small satellites as well as human spaceflight operations. Its first mission, the LauncherOne, was launched in 2021 and deployed 10 CubeSats. It completed its merger with NextGen Acquisition corp II in December 2021. -(not solely owned by richard/virgin group) filled for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection - allowing the re jigging of a company and its assets to allow it to continue operating. It’s assets outweigh its debt by circa £70m. https://news.sky.com/story/amp/richard-bransons-satellite-launching-firm-virgin-orbit-files-for-bankruptcy-protection-12849520 Virgin galactic (yet another separate entity company not owned entirely by Richard) Virgin Galactic is a spaceflight company founded by Richard Branson and the Virgin Group conglomerate which retains an 11.9% stake through Virgin Investments Limited. It is headquartered in California, and operates from New Mexico. the other 88.1% is owned by shareholders including me. Some of the other more well known investors include - vanguard and Black rock. so the FACTs in summary :- richard Branson - not bankrupt VIRGIN ORBIT - filled for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection (not bankruptcy) virgin galactic - not bankrupt virgin group - not bankrupt.
