Hello all and thank you in advance for any advice. I'm a complete beginner and have only been shooting a few times using a mates Beretta 692. Having now received my certificate I can now purchase my first gun however, what to buy. I keep getting drawn back to the Beretta 690 Sporting Black but when I’m in the shop I wonder if I’m doing the right thing. 90% of my time shooting will be Clays but if I get the chance then I will go game but as I say only if the chance comes. Ok. I had my visit yesterday. I had a few slapped wrists back in 99/00 and we spoke about all that. His departing speech was don’t be going deposits down a gun as it still could take a few weeks yet to get the nod. There will be 3 outcomes. 1 you will get it, 2 you won’t get it or 3 you will get it but with conditions. It’s a waiting game now.
