  1. Well it's ok good trigger goodish barrel plastics are well done but... The firing impulse is a bit harsh and a gap opens up here there's a fundamental design problem
  2. Its not that old a thread I've eaten biscuits that were older.....
  3. Not normally into replicas, air guns developed there own tech an therefore created there own style and look, but I did always like the CAR15 colt commando and the like, should look good in the rack and be good to shoot being a BB springer not a lot to go wrong but its an umarex and I find there build quality is variable, its an ex demo so I hope not too scuffed and reviews seem to point to it being not a bad plinker not here yet, so I'll have to let you know!
  4. Should he not be shooting towards his property? He's on the wrong side of the law already blood fool! I shoot in a garden a little over that in range good back stop and towards my own property police have been round but no problem as I could quote the law and most importantly practice it.
  5. grease, light oil and white spirit, soak it then fit, spring guns work best burning a small amount of fuel per cycle, with what ever you put on the spring being shunted forward and acting as fuel and lube.
  6. Could you post pic's I maybe interested in spares if edge007 has no need for them, standard parts preferred.
  7. I think we all care for are sport, and to give it a good reputation and future we agree to comply, it's hard to gauge the character of a man via a forum but I don't think any here would be wanting to go beyond the law and the level set by law in the main is good enough for most of the sports pursuits.
  8. I have been around air guns for 40 years and turbo has a point never know of one to have been tested.
  9. Easy converted? that's most guns out there, a springer can go over just with a bit of oil in the wrong place, seems like a very wide net type of law I guess that was the point.🙄
  10. Think there around 40fp at full power so that's none too shabby, mine puts out a mind bending 11.8 with a 20 grn pellet doing about 500 😄 so would love to know what yours will drive down range!
  11. I though my stealth was tactical! looks like some wicked bit of kit, hawk do a pretty good dot sight I have one which I swap out between it and a 4x24 scope... think you could finish it off with some scrim and a ghillie 😁
  12. Interesting the phase one valves are quite different from my phase 2, mine has a brass valve body that screws in from the front, the stem on mine is threaded on the front so the top hat is screwed on and secured by tiny cross drilled grub screws, the delrin valve seals on the valve body itself and as well as the valve body seal I have one in the top hat and one for the stem. The white bit would be the stem body? if you look at both ends one side will show an imprint of where the delrin valve has been seating. also I got all my seals from Gunpower.
  13. There should be a valve stem sticking out the top unless you have already striped the valve? Ok you have the phase 1 valve body two things tend to happen one the valve stem gets hammered into the delrin seal closing up the transfer port next the top hat keeps moving so the opening time go's to hell making them inconsistent' got pictures of the other parts? Also dose it have grub screws on the left side of the main frame? past the "upper handle" towards the muzzle basically extra screws for the barrel rings.
  14. I have one what do you want to know? Is the valve body brass or steel?
  15. If your looking for something that works a little like a PCP but without the tank then that would be a pump up gun (I have the 2200 Crossman) There mostly American makes out there, Crossman are the low end but there are others if you can find them.
  16. Nice gun, I also will vouch for Trevor only got some pellets from him but spent an hour talking! comes across as a very genuine character.
  17. I have the Airforce and Combro both good the airforce is easy to use but the combro has more functions
  18. Never been that bothered about twang, but if you just brake the sharp edges and give a finishing polish to some riding surfaces of the piston and guide most guns respond well to such things. thou due to the construction of the action I would think the piston rides on a plastic ring washer
  19. Think mine would be a latter model considering the matt finish. sounds like they were a pricey scope!
  20. Thanks gives me some idea on a date, matt or gloss finish ?
  21. Anybody know of them? its a (Hunter 4x40 wide "coated image moving Japan") reminded me of the wide angle Tasco's (image view is flattered top and bottom ) which I think is what it is or the parent company that made them for Tasco? matt finish with good crisp lens, any info on them would be nice to know, thanks!
