  1. Plenty of Sussex people on here....welcome from another.....
  2. No....got rid....did not like the feel of it....very uncomfortable to shoot with.
  3. RWS 500 (fore runner to the Daystate Air Ranger) fitted with the MTC Mamba Lite silenced by the Huggett Magna. FAC in .22 running @ 32lb with Bisley Mags.
  4. Funny you should mention this. I actually did notice this whilst out on a rook shoot yesterday morning. Need to take the stock of and give her a good clean in those rather awkward places.
  5. Not expensive....just can’t find them in a colour to match my eyes..... .....
  6. I find scope height has never affected my shooting on any of the guns I have owned or still own. They are set up to do what I require them to do and then left at that setting. If it ain’t broke as the saying goes........
  7. When you look at the scope mounting rail on the FX Wildcat and how high that is before you even mount the scope, the Bobcat rail is low in comparison. Yes that is the final position, and functions as it should. I have had no problems with it.
  8. The scope mount was designed specifically to be used with the Viper Connect. And is just as sturdy as the BKL double strap mounts that I use on my other rifle.
  9. Two bits of of class finishing was the difference. The Albion again gave a good account of themselves against a very poor man untd performance. There seems to be something wrong at the moment at old Trafford. With the players they have, they just do not seem to be playing like a united team.
  10. But all air rifle are capable of putting pellet on pellet.....if I want to spend my money on a gun that I like, is comfortable to hold, shoulders comfortably, fits me better than a lot of other guns that I have the pleasure/misfortune to have owned, that is my choice. The Bobcat does what I need it to do. There are other guns out there that could do the same job, but, the Bobcat fits and suits me better.
  11. As it happens....the bobcat is quite a nice gun to handle....one of the most comfortable stocks I have had the pleasure of holding.... you tactical.....I say not....have seen a lot more military looking guns out there this is my ratting set up......I will post later my FAC set up I use for rabbiting once I have watched the mighty seagulls dump man untd out of the cup ...... then you can give me your lovely views on that...... ohh.....and for the s200......I think they are one ugly broom stick that should be confined to the broom cupboard and please.....don’t use the word .....GAY......just because I come from Brighton......x........
  12. I honestly can’t say how quiet she is... all I can hear is the noise from the action......
  13. FX Bobcat .177 fitted with the MTC Viper Connect 3*12*32 AMD ret tamed with the Hugget Belita.

  15. Jacket received today. Thankyou.
  16. Received today. Thank you,
  17. I have a 2004 rws 500 (early air ranger) in. 22 spitting bis mags out at 918fps. I also have a 2006 air ranger in, 22 spitting accupels out at 11.4lb. I have never had no issues with either gun. As for service cost, when you consider I am paying over £600 for a season ticket to watch Brighton play football, think I know which one is a waste of money.
