I've just ordered a tru-oil stock refinishing kit, hopefully it'll come out well, never refurbed a gun before.

Thanks, planning to strip the old varnish off the stock as it is pretty tatty and refinish it using tru-oil, hopefully should come out with a nice finish.

I have a AYA No4 or No3 which I want to strip to stock and oil, however I can't get the metalwork out of the forend, any pointers as to how to do this?

I thought it was a No3 but I was told it was a No4 non ejector, didn't pay much for it , is there a way to tell the difference?

Just bought this AYA No4 non ejector, plan to remove the varnish and oil the stock.

Hi all, been rough shooting for a few years, looking to improve as I seem to just end up walking around fields with a shotgun, hopefully be able to get some pointers here!
