  1. Yup, just checked it and in the process of texting the guy😇
  2. There was no description or picture when I originally replied, it was added later. Now I've seen it, I can text the guy see if he'll do a deal.

    Co2 or not

My son bought a springer that's silenced this week, £125 new complete with scope, almost silent. Killed 2 rats last night. In comparison my unsilenced springer is noisier than his silenced .410 Last gas powered gun we had on the tiny disposable capsules only fired 8 - 10 shots before needing changing. No idea if that's normal as we only borrowed it to try.
  4. They're advertising that they are, so maybe so.
  5. Maybe I should tighten up I shoot cylinder. Some are dead the moment they're hit, others need retrieving and dispatching. Hoping I find out tonight as I'm going to the perm with my sons Mossberg at 6.30pm.
  6. My son shares his yard at work with a skip company, they pay skip divers to salvage goods for sale. It's amazing the amount of goods that are skipped. I had a brand new, still packaged sea fishing rod. Brand new photography tripod, box wet. 5m cam net new, but ripped. Loads and loads of partly worn ex military gear. Tools by the ton, mostly new unopened but either ex display? or dirty/rusty. That's just the stuff he brings home for me that the skip yard can't make a fast profit on themselves, the yard boys don't want and my sons drivers don't get to first. I put a new pull cord in a brand new genny that was scrapped and my son sold it as seen. Chop saw, required a fuse in plug only and sold on. Oh, old Diana .177, cleaned oiled and sold on. The list goes on and on, if I was more able bodied I could make a tidy sum just repairing what others can't be bothered to and are re skipping for landfill or wherever they end up.
  7. Well despite people in Sheffield complaining about them, hence my original post I've yet to see any evidence of them.
  8. Also interested to know myself
  9. Horrendous 🤣 I took this the other day whilst setting up. 2 Crows all day, I put it down to them seeing the car. Now I've got to rethink another excuse.
  10. Not single shot! Must be fully silenced and working. Within a reasonable drive of Sheffield. Cash waiting, and hopefully not too expensive please.
  11. Really nice to see especially as I'm seriously looking for a moderated .410 as I'm having noise issues too. Can you drop crows with it as well as i find crows are harder to kill, I often find even with 32g of 6s they drop but still need further dispatching. Good video, I can only dream of 97 round here.
  12. No description, no picture, no age. Guesswork for a little under retail? No sale!
  13. Depends what you need, I use 1 of these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/143082418251
  14. I hope it's better tomorrow I'm over peas in the morning then fresh ploughed fields on my own perm in the late morning or afternoon
  15. I've just gained permission for indoor, grain store and animal pens. Every time I go in there are at least two squirrels just sat watching me. Two less now, .22 springer air gun. Sons just bought a moderated air gun and I'm on the look out for a moderated .410. The normal .410 echoes so much inside and its directly at the side of a bridleway. Blummin huge rats too. Bigger than the average thing as theres so much food available.
  16. Never used socks so can't comment. Both fully bodied and half shells have there uses on the day. I actually like a mix, depends who's carrying the kit. Not heavy but bulky. I prefer half shells as I can mount them on spring sticks which adds a bit of movement. I can also pack around 20 halfs shells in the side pocket of my bergan but can only get about 6 full bodied in the entire bag with other essential kit. Better to drop a few pigeons and use them as decoys, keep a few in the fridge to start the next session off.
  17. That sounds about right. No idea why someone would load something that can't get chambered though, might as well leave the gun in the shop and shout bang.
  18. I can only speak for the guns I have personal knowledge of. In a gun chambered for 3" or 3 1/2" magnum you can fit three in the mag if they are 65mm, however, 65mm do not recycle due to length therefore making it a pointless exercise. I have no idea of the legalities. I also thought magazines where crimped to prevent more than two in the mag, mine is, and to remove the crimp would render the gun utterly useless. Might as well just stay inside the law and not risk a court appearance or worse still a hospital appearance for breech explosion.
  19. Me? Always, forever. Untrinque Paratus!
  20. Try Parcel Force, they brought mine. As far as I'm aware they are no longer part of Royal Mail.
  21. Golok, also miss known as a machete. I had mine issued brand new in 1975 the only new one I've ever seen, so never handed it back. Kept it razor sharp and despite them being called tree beaters mine gave sterling service. I was more than a little upset when it was left by mistake overnight on my daughters allotment and her shed was broken into and it stolen. I now use a small hand axe and a pair of secateurs for hide building and other stuff. You just don't seem to be able to buy anything decent or that doesn't have a bottle opener or some other non sensecal imaginary second use. Failing that some kind of Ramboesce rubbish designed for the simple minded to play with.
