[Remove Maxus magazine end cap]

So I'm better off not to try and and twist off the cap just in case I damage the threads etc

Hi all,

I have just got a new maxus and I can't seem to get the magazine plug out, the opening is smaller than the plug itself.

 I tried to un-screw the black magazine cap and remove the plug that way but there wasnt a budge out of it. Is it an easy task to do or am i missing something?
