I'm also making a disc , now looking for good data. Try to get good BC ,CW, Values , will shoot 10 pellets on 75 meter trough the Chrony. YES I have a shield in front of it Here a pic. of my paperwork, sorry still not so good in that. Range from 40 to 110 meters, windforce 2/3/4/5/6/7 in Bft. and wind angle 90 ( FULL) , and 71% and 50% so I must have 8 x 6 x 3 = 144 numbers to write on the disc. I like better to shoot one bird in 10 sec. , then spoil 10 birds in a quicky -

I use only home working tools, and a router for inletting, did buy a cheap grinder and use 40 grid sanding disk for shaping, the grinder with the very rough paper shape the wood like a hot knife in butter.

I don't think that I know what you mean, sorry for my bad english, but it was an oil finish, and after a few hunting trips with crawling trough wet sand, it went very smooth and with new oil on it, looks even better then before.

The cap on the pistolgrip is Letterhout ( dutch ) you call it SNAKEWOOD, now the difficult part: Piratinera guyanensis Aubl. I have trouble to wirte it over from a book Buy it years back, when I was making self longbows from Yew.
