On our pistol range, two of us went one afternoon 20 years ago. My friend was shooting his .22rf pistol I was observing, in my boredom I started reading notices and also noticed 2” hole through the shed side. Went to the the other side of the shed and a slightly smaller hole with something inside. I extracted the interesting piece of metal to discover it was 1/3 of a pistol chamber, so we came to the conclusion it was a blowup but to this day not one club member has owed up to the explosion 💥 he must have been alone as if anyone else had been shooting either side of the blowup a piece of chamber would have hit them or the firearm they where using

I can recommend a new Richard’s Chassis, much easier to work that way the forever patching, do it correctly and the results fetch over £15k, do it cheaply at your only breaking even when you sell. price is good I’ve seen worst project’s fetch more money

One time I moved house, I rode a 1997 Honda fire blade and had saved my RD350LC in the shed, rode the Honda to the new house then the LC. As I got on the lovely sounding LC with my rose tinted specs on I pulled off with a smile ! A mile later going through some nice roads at a fast pace that bike screaming like I remembered, but I forgot the pencil thin powerband the flexible/bending frame hard tyres and poor road feel ! sold it shortly after moving 🙂

My Dad has a GT 250 when I was 17, I used to ride it when he was at work. I don’t think he ever knew, he would have given me a belt if he knew, I hadn’t got a bike or insurance 😣 lucky for me I did eventually pass my bike test on a DT125 and then bought a RD350LC still surprised I’m alive after some of the things myself and the other loons got upto . nice bit of history, with cliff edge tyres
