  1. Hi! I have 60 rounds of American Eagle hollow point and 20 rounds of Norma balistic tip and 10 rounds of PNC FMJ left in my cabinet after selling my rifle. I would like £30 for the lot. If you buy it I will also GIVE you some home loaded rounds (35grain BT over Varget, avereage MV 3150fps). I'm in Par but work in St.austell. Local delivery possible as I go out playing on my bike quite often :-) Must be face to face, must have an FAC in .223 with expanding ammo. Kind regards Liam
  2. Hi! Do you still have the Ruger for sale?? :look:
  3. I am lucky enough to have been asked to keep the number of bunnies down on a local golf course. Although I have an open ticket and a hush power .410 I thought it would be best to take my Webley Raider on my first visit, just for a bit of a look arround and bag one or two if the shots appear. By half seven all the golfers had toddled off and I started off at the 9th hole working my way back to the club house. There were loads of bunnies about but nothing within easy air rifle range until I got to the 7th hole. As I sneaked across to the low hedge between 7th and 6th, just on the other side perhaps 25 feet away sat a good sized buck. I took aim and dropped him, first shot. As I sat there waiting, just incase another wabbit hopped over to see what had happened to him, I could not beleve my eyes. A young'ish cub bounced over and grabbed the rabbit I had just bowled over and started throwing it arround, I'm sure he had clocked me but couldn't give a sod! Not having any thing other than an air rifle there was nothing I could do but sit there and watch, I got some footage of the cub on my mobile but he tore off with his ill'gotten'gains when I stood up to move on. Whilst I know foxes are a pain, at the end of the day he was out doing the same as me, trying to get a bunnie or two and I know the damage they can do...but it was great to watch! The only time I have ever been that close to a fox he had just been dispatched, an unusual situation but it nice all the same.
  4. I have one fitte to a Webley&Scott B/A .410. The rifle end of the moderator un-screws (as does the other end for cleaning) and you have to take it to a gun smith / engineer and have the inside turned to match your barrel. Once it's a good snug fit (Ideal on my tapered barrel) apply some thread lock or similar and GENTLY tap it home with a wooden or rubber mallet. Mine has been on for almost 2 years and never come loose. As for efficiency I'm at a dissadvantage, as far as I'm aware all subsonic cart's are 3" and I'm chambered for 2 1/2", however I reload my own cases to keep it subsonic. In use a standard cartridge is quieter but not by a huge margin. Subsonic home loads are superb! Quieter than my Webley&Scott raider PCP without a mod and a smidgen louder than it with a mod. Groups seem to be tighter with a mod however it took me an age to get used to shooting it! Hang up some wall paper from a tree and shoot it loads to get used to aim/impact. On the whole I would reccomend them, it allows me to use it in places I would not normally dream of with a shot gun!
  5. Hi! I have a Taurus revolver and a well kitted (over the top :-) ) Semi-auto rimfire. Neither seem to fit any of the cases hard or soft on the market. I'm guessing there are lots of you who have allready made bespoke cases and I would be greatful if you could pin some pictures here for me to have a look at. Any help greatfully recieved. Thanks in advance BigGun1
  6. I have issues with lifts. Glass or otherwise. I don't do clostrofobia or however you spell it, I could sit my cabinet for hours no probs but one floor on a lift is enough to spoil my day! Dizzy, disorientated, angry, oh I hate em!
  7. Allrighty then! No takers on the package so time to split it, Rossi Rifle in .223 only 83 shots with hammer extension and dovetail mount £100 + Postage via RFD at cost Zos Scope, 10-40x60! 9. Wow, it's not just our goverment that are messing things up! Read this a while ago and it really does get you thinking! http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/c...icle2409817.ece
  10. Guessing your Mum's told you the same thing mine told me............... 'If you can't find anything nice to say, don't say anything'
  11. Only selling as since having it I have hardly used it and I'm hankering after a Buckmark .22 long barrelled pistol or Taurus long barrel in .22. nudge nudge wink wink
  12. Hi! I have a Rossi Single shot break action chambered in .223. It's the heavy barreled Stainless with black furniture. 2 years old and less than 150 shots through it. It has a 21mm rail fitted to it and a hammer extension lever. Up front is a Reflex T8 in good condition (no it's not rusting, yes I do have a video bore scope) and a decent heavy duty bipod. It's also fitted with a Heavy duty 3" neopreen sling. On top theres a Zos 10-40x60 with iluminating pin dot reticule, large FT style focus wheel and 3" sunshade. As I'm changing calibre, also included will be a lee aniversary reloading kit including die's (only made 60 rounds with it!). I'm trying to find out what I should ask for the whole lot. I can't be doing with selling it in bit's! Kind regards BG1
  13. Bump! £80 the pair+ postage, will accept paypal
  14. Hi!!! My brother has upgraded both his rifle and ammo safes so his old ones are up for grabs The guncabinet will hold three shotguns, he used to keep a shot gun, target rifle and sporter in it. (Scopes taken off) it mounts throug the back or base and has two locking points. The cabinet is in good condition. The ammo safe is a slam shut MOT safe. Well hefty and fits a good few bricks of rimfire ammo in. It's very solid however could do with a coat of hammerite to pretty it up. Neither are bsi stamped however he's had no problem getting the flo to pass them. He's looking for £100 plus postage for them both, ideal if your just going for an FAC or need more storage. Can't be bad
