  1. Perfect thank you! Pmd you 👍
  2. About 50kg Will it not if used with tin and a bit of flux. This video looks very good and full of information to me? But obviously I could be wrong.
  3. I read that somewhere else thank you. Just tring to source all the equipment now! Trying to find a cast pot isn't as easy as I thought
  4. Thats what i thought and won't be going that route. I was originally going to look at the straight lead, tin and antimomy route as it looks the best quality and value, but will certainly look at linotype as well. Thanks again
  5. Thats brilliant thanks. I've heard of the old wheel weights but obviously harder to get now as they don't use lead anymore
  6. Thats brilliant thanks 😊 hello and yes. Going to try a 3% ally with a touch of tin as well. Just going to play with the hardness as obviously raw lead is too soft.
  7. does anybody have any idea where this can be bought please? Or does anybody have some laying around which is surplus to their requirements? 😌 Thanks
  8. Knew id seen it somehwere 🙄 Many thanks
  9. I remember seeing a drawing with dimensions for a shot maker on here but can't for the life of me find it anywhere. Does anybody have any dims and angles for the ladel? Thanks
  10. Thats brilliant. May take you up on that sitsinhedges (great name btw) when all of this chaos ends 👍
  11. Thats exactly where the rose golds came from 👍 assume that's one of their own brands? I'm leicester side of kibworth unfortunately but Kettering isn't far. Whys that?
  12. Thats great thanks. I'll go with the fiocchi hull data. Thanks for all your help 👍
  13. I've literally just watched that before you replied. Very good. Never dreamed of using standard corrugated cardboard! Now wheres all those Amazon boxes.... Thanks
  14. good morning all, hope everybody is safe and well. I've posted another thread on here regarding overpower cards, but thats run off in a tangent (mainly because of my stupid questions) so thought I'd start a new one as I'm in desperate need of assistance. The current set up I have got are as follows:- Various 70mm eley, rose gold and RC HPF3 hulls. Lee Load All 2 Alliant Herco powder CCI 209 primers 18mm fibre wads No 7 shot The main issues I'm finding is that I didn't realise the Load All wasn't designed for fibre wads, but various members have told me they have loaded them fine, and I would like to continue this from an environmental point. I'm also aware I need overpowder cards or wads so I'll be getting those. My thought train so far is that I've used the data from the Alliant manual for 2 3/4 inch Fiocchi hulls, and the grain range dependant on wad (as fibre isn't listed) is between 25.5 and 26. I've test loaded (with used primer) an Ely Hull, loaded the powder, inserted the wad, loaded the 32g of no7 shot and have a gap of 9.6mm between the top of the shot and the crease line in the cartridge, or 18.2mm total distance between the top of the shot and the opening edge of the cartridge. My questions are, are the grain assumptions ok as ive gone with the .180 insert in the Load All which should give a projected 26.3 grain, but after several weighing checks is coming out at 24.7 grains. And do I have to make the 9.6mm gap up with overpowder cards/wads as this seems a large gap to me? Apologies in advance for all the questions but I'm a total newbie at reloading and have scoured the net and manuals etc, but just feel a bit more confident with your expert assistance Many thanks! Dan
  15. Maybe not. The alliant website doesn't give me the option of the cci 209 primer with the cheddites. Starting to wish I hadn't gotten into this now 😭 I'm really struggling to find the grain load for the eley hulls with cci 209 primers and 19mm fibre wads...
  16. Thats great cookoff, thanks again. I'll use the data for the cheddites. All of the empties I have a relatively new.
  17. Thank you. So how would the empties ive got fit into that list? 🤔
  18. Thanks. What do the different cartridges mean?
  19. Deleted perfect thank you. Anybody know about the powder grain with a fibre as I'm using the 10% more than plastic as a guide? Thanks thanks for that. Very helpful.
  20. Alliant Herco powder 19mm fibre wads 70mm Eley Pigeon Select shells (and a few 70mm rose gold shells) Thank you very much
  21. I'm fine with that as need in a hurry.
