thanks for the input guys, i was hoping someone would say yes i use this or that, may get a good magnet for the steel but still a problem with the lead, i made pigeon burgers and smoked pigeon pate and its disappointing when you still find shot in it

would the detector you use to locate wiring and pipes in a wall before drilling be any good at showing lead or steel shot in game meat ?

i have a victor garda sport side by side 12 g shot gun not being used so free to some one who is in need of a gun, it is 3" chambered and 1/4 1/2 choke, not pretty but fully usable, if the new owner so wishes they could make a small donation to CRY Charity in memory of my son, Regards Nick

my friend and i have just purchased Alvey 30 mm pumps from Veals Tackle, we used them for the first time and collected plenty of lug worm, far easier than digging, well pleased with our purchases, lots of people prefer 30 instead of 50mm. a word of warning, my friend originaly purchased a cheaper one from ebay,the stainless tube was not seamless and the sharp seam inside cut the seals to shreds,that was £40 wasted.
