  1. Purple loctite (the one I’d use - I use it on watch parts) can be broken without force by heating the screw with a soldering iron - if you’re careful, virtually no heat will make it into the “hole”, just wait for the tiniest bit of smoke.
  2. Bump so others will find it near your new post Beautiful gun
  3. I’ve got a 1:8 .223 and I’ve found 55grn, 62grn and 69grn to be the same out to 300yrds, with the heavier bullets being more accurate at 600yrds. My rifle loves 62grn American Eagle, which is cheap and dirty, but very accurate. The GGG 69grn with Sierrra HPBTs is also excellent - I now reload my own version of this round and it gives 0.5moa at 600yrds - rifle is a lot more accurate than me! I tried PPU match ammo and my rifle wouldn’t shoot it, but knows someone who swears by it (in 62grn) through his Tikka…
  4. I think this is true of the Egyptian police GP too - lots were converted back to 12 bore and the proof marks should tell the story. This looks like a nice example; I’ve got two other guns on my list before the GP..!
  5. Thanks - is it FN or Browning branded? I think the serial number makes it 1959, but only if it is an FN…
  6. Any pics? Barrel length and (approx) age would be appreciated. thanks
  7. Excellent - what type of scopes are you looking for and what kind of swap value?
  8. Is this a pukka EKP-8-18 or a copy? What type of scope are you looking for and what type of value? Thanks!
  9. It’ll fit - do you know the material thickness? Thanks Alex
  10. Thanks - I’ll check the space I have next to my other cabinet tomorrow and get back to you.
  11. Hi - I’m interested - could you let me know the outside dimensions please?
  12. Hi, is it a varmint barrel and what’s the twist? Thanks, Alex
