  1. Ugly dogs, my mate has one. I really dont like dogs that have the moustache type muzzle, not mad on curly haired dogs either, I really do dislike seeing them. They seem to be everhwhere.
  2. Ah, it wasnt like thay when I applied. I dont know why they never replied.
  3. Pffft, I applied about 5 years ago, got an email back saying it was full and youll be kept on record for when spaces were available. Never had anything back. Is it quite expensive now?
  4. Is that the huge lake they took a pontoon on?
  5. Never, I dont believe I've ever held a fly rod either. Maybe something to look into. I was watching someone do it on youtube the other day on Carl and Alex. If you dont know who they are but have an interest in fishing, Carl and Alex are two brilliant young lads that have been making fishing videos since they were children. There editing and video is top quality and they're nothing but good for the outdoor pursuits and fishing world. This is the type of stuff they produce. I highly reccoment anyone who likes fishing or well made videos to check them out. Also if you have children or grandchildren you would like to introduce to fishing but cant get out at the minute, show it to them. Cheers bud. This is their channel - https://youtube.com/c/CarlandAlex
  6. @Scully this may amuse you seeing as youve seen the field walkers with masks on. Yesterday in Lidl, there was a chap walking around with a proper mask on, not a homemade rag. Next thing I look around and he has his mask hanging off one ear because he was licking his fingers to make opening the plastic bags easier, then proceeded to handle all the fresh fruit. Put his mask back on and kept shopping. Also, my brother cycled down the back lanes where there was a woman walking her dog, HOLDING her mask 6 inches away from her face as she walked. Nobody else around. Big brain power right there.
  7. Possibly this, it would be foolish of the industry to ignore changes in consumers views, the sooner they can adjust the sooner they'll be better off. There will always be a meat market but failing to plan is planning to fail.
  8. This just reminded me, its not the same thing but its to do with the way we see food. After the Brexit vote there were loads of articles about food being more expensive etc etc tomatoes going up in price, all doom and gloom as normal. All I could think is that maybe some things should go up in price as it might make people look at food a bit differently instead of wasting loads food all the time. Or if say prices of tomatoes from Europe was too high it may spark the viability for more UK based growers to invest in bigger setups to help demand. Even though I enjoy the convenience of having whatever ingredient whenever, there needs to be more food education on seasonality. Some of the meat rearing conditions can be less than desirable. I understand that price increases could be devastating for some lower income families, but I was just thinking to myself about current food culture. I think if they made meat illegal we would be dead by then.
  9. They'll be ****ting it over the Euros. Allow no quarantine and show the public that their current restriction decisions really are just political and not health and data based or ruin a big game for many fans and face a nice big backlash.....I cant to see wait either way
  10. Use her as bait. Like dinosaurs aren't they.
  11. Yeah he was, he hooked that at 4am, half a tin of spam on a hair rig.
  12. Bloke next to me got a mog. Just found out the lake behind me has Sturgeon.
  13. Yes they are, bud. Pink feet, orange bill.
  14. First outing in a hammock, the weather looked good for it and its lighter to carry than a bivvy. I love a bit of Tench fishing, there's an estate near me that bred fish back in the 1500s then in the 1800s it's was breeding Tench and trout, in the old wood there is a boating lake full of them. Years ago I had permission but the estate has changed hands and I'm in the process of retaining the permission. Cheers bud, the owner is a farmer with wheat, barley, rape and an absolute load of pink feet. I just started chatting to him about the amount of them and any potential crop damage, gave him a business card I had made up and he said I can come down whenever they're in season and thin them out. I dont usually weigh them but I'd say about 13lb.
  15. First overnighter of the year (bit late). Gone for the lightweight set up. Had one within 15mins and secured some pigeon and geese shooting from the owner of the pools.
  16. Yeah, i did notice the whistle, dont worry haha
  17. It would seem they didnt used up to date data either. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9695199/Data-used-Boris-Johnson-delay-Freedom-Day-date-MPs-told.html
  18. This is what the public and restriction supporters completely overlook. As I said before, the extension is not backed by health justifications, its a political one. When will people stop willingly eating this **** sandwich? What a surprise........ I bet theyre more densely populated too.
  19. You cant run a businesses at full capacity due to the restrictions, forcing them to run at a handicap, not very capitalist is it. The rule of 6, the government should have no ruling on how many people you have in your home. You do something as simple as order a drink from the bar, you have to sit and wait and have it brought to you for no reason at all. Dont say pubs are not essential, but shopping is, its not the point, we live in a country based on such freedoms. To have such freedoms restricted so easily is the issue in principle. You cant go on holiday abroad without isolations and testing etc. (I wouldnt go because of the hassle and the low level or enjoyment due to covid hysteria). Rules on social distancing still in place that advise not hugging friends (smh, not that anyone listens). A rules are still in place you cant escape the moral impact, covid culture and government propaganda, its stained our daily lives now and enough is enough. As Deker said about his niece, no need for her to be in thay condition, thats from propaganda and the daily dome of covid fear people are kept under. My friends daughter is 7, a few months ago she wouldnt give me a high five due to "the rules", she was worried. In no world should a 7 year old be worried about **** like that. As for the cases question you asked. I would remove the restrictions, pay no mind to the rising case numbers as its not leading to deaths and hospitalisations in large numbers, offer the vaccine to those in their 20s if they want it. I dont how many times I can say the rising cases dont matter if barely anyone is dying, its not difficult to understand. We have tens of millions of cases of the common cold every year, if it was killing 10 people a week and had millions of postive cases a week, we wouldnt have any type of restrictions. Why treat covid any different now we have a vaccine, this will be the way we have to treat it as a society or we wont move on. Hell no, no tier system, just remove the restrictions.
  20. No, a large part have had the vaccine. Over 42million had 1 jab and over 30million have had 2. Out of those, the vulnerable groups have been covered. Barely any deaths. Under 1000 in hospital last week. Big case numbers that dont cause massive deaths dont count. The extention is unjust.
