Yes they are, its infuriating. I think I posted this on another thread but I was at a permission (pre India variant), a bloke came to drop an invoice off for the land owner, we started chatting etx, next thing this bloke says "its not getting any better is it?". Now this was when deaths were under like 10 a week, I stayed silent but I was thinking "are you ******* mental". With that kind of attitude we will never crack on. Now with the Indian variant- Thought to be more transmissible - high cases are not equating to high deaths. Hospital capacity - hardly any covid patients in hospitals in the effected areas. The groups that initially filled the hospitals in 2020 are vaccinated. The groups that contributed to 99% of UK deaths are pretty much all vaccinated. I cant see what there is to fear, we must move on now, as Julia Hartley Brewer said on her programme, this is as good as it gets, live with it, you either believe the vaccines work and they're our way out or they dont work.

Same, the only thing that has bothered me are the restrictions and people ******** themselves. People act like covid is ebola fgs. I cant see why people would be worrying now, even SAGE think that the Indian variant may be up to 50% more transmissible but not more deadly, people seem to be confusing transmissible with deadly. With all the ages groups pretty much covered, I cant see the issue. I know of only 2 people that had it, one who is 25, he felt a bit tired, fine after 3 days. The other was in his 50s and had an atrocious diet of biscuits and takeaways, couldnt walk more than 20yrds without being out of breathe so I'm not surprised he kicked it, suppose he made his bed with his lifestyle. I've now been offered the vaccine (in my 30s) but wont be bother having it (no I'm not an antivaxxer, I wouldnt bother with the flu vaccine if they offered that either). Vaccines work, had others in the past etc but will give this one a few years and have it if I really need it to travel abroad at some point.

Not picking a fight or anything but why do you think its time to worry?
  7. I wouldnt say theyre all horrible, depends what youve tried I suppose. There are plenty of shockingly bad cigars about. These Java Mint I have there are great with a stout or espresso martini, they taste like an After Eight.
  8. King Edwards? Haha
  9. Yes but in Nicaragua instead.

    Cigars

My latest haul of Drew Estate cigars from the US. All of these are infused cigars except for the Swamp Thangs (the brown and green ones) they are Kentucky Fire Cured. Kind of food and drink I suppose.

The Indian variant is nothing to worry about just like all the others were nothing to worry about. Hancock, Boris, SAGE and the media are what you want to be worried about, whipping up hysteria and division, you want to be worried about them scuppering the June 21st lifting of restrictions by peddling more ******** about variants. 10,000 hospitalisations by July from the Indian variant, my ****. As for people going on holiday, its not selfish and its up to them if they wanna laze about on the beach. Personally, I wouldnt go, I couldnt give a **** about getting covid but because I cant see it being that enjoyable with restrictions in other countries. If we dont accept risk now and continue unlock the UK with the vulnerable vaccinated then we never will be able to because there will always be variants. If you are old or vulnerable you should have had the vaccines sorted, if you are young you are at extremely low risk like a common Influenza and if you dont want the vaccine then you've accepted risk so I cannot see why people are soo keen to stay under restrictions. People travelling from India shouldnt be a big of an issue as its been made out to be but I expect its being used to highlight and put pressure on minority groups that are releuctant to take the vaccine.
  12. Have you noticed that recently Boris and Hancock have been very slightly distancing themselves now and then from the opinons of sage. I think they know it'll be political suicide.
  13. They are a dream to use in Europe, flying around Seville in 30c weather, tapas bar to tapas bar. I love them. They were also my main mode of transport in Warsaw. I think Britains attitude to fun is a bit stuffy.
  14. I dont mind if I whittle them down a few a day, I enjoy walking the grounds anyway. Might have to travel a bit to the next RFD but it isnt far for ammo.
  15. Just picked up some carts from my local RFD, we had a chat about the CZ 457, he can get me one with a few days lead in but he said they have no 17hmr ammo and haven't been able to get it for about the last month, is this a common issue at the moment, a shortage in 17 ammo?

I do think that people may not play along if they try and milk this Indian variant and delay the removal of restrictions in June. Cant keep ******* your pants every time they mention a new one, there has always been variants and always will be, its getting very old now.
  17. I think it was TGS15 and they have previously used TGS10, these may have expired though.
  18. I have the CF Switch, used a discount code from TGS on youtube. £100. They've been really good, gunshots are not loud yet you can hear people talking and you dont that thudding in your head from your footsteps. When I had mine made, I asked them to use a softer shore material for the inner ear part and they did it with no problems. Process took about 6 weeks in total.
  19. Ive put vanilla pods in bottles before and did a vanilla and coconut vodka. It works well, the coconut and vanilla was like an unsweetened Malibu.
  20. Nothing would surprise me when China is involved.
