  1. Have now purchased a 3 shot hushpower pump. may still be interested in an O/U if one comes up though.
  2. Hi, Cheers yes did see that one but just a bit too far away from me and want to physically see the gun before purchase rather than sending to a RFD.
  3. Hi All, Looking to get a 20 bore huspower. I’m located in Essex but prepared to travel for right gun. Cheers Hewey

    Thanks,

  8. Hi, Give a Nissan Terrano or Ford Maverick a look, had my old R Reg. Terrano now for nearly 3 years, is equally as good as as my previous 53 Reg. Discovery TD5 off road. Only routine servicing in that time, never put a foot wrong, sailed through last 2 MOT's too. It's a SWB 2.4i Petrol, only use it on odd weekends and only for shooting, stgill get about 26 mpg.
  9. Maybe they've changed them since I last tried them but when I used a fair few of them on Pigeons I found them to have a lot more recoil than the Sipe's, thought the Sipe's killed better too.
  10. Give RC Sipe's a go, I think they are one of the best cartridges out there currently. Have used Black Golds and they are ok but do give quite a bit of recoil. For a lighter load Express World Cup in 6.5's are quick and good killers.
  11. Hi, I find Blackgold kick quite a bit more than RC's. If I'm not using RC Sipe's then i use Express World Cup in 6.5's only 28g but a very good cartridge, very quick and also a bit cheaper than the RC's. Hewey
  12. Yes the Earlier Maverick is the same as the Terrano. I've had a T2 2.4 Petrol R reg. for 2 years now only use it for shooting/fishing, it's fantastic off road better I would say than the 3 discovery's I had before it (probably as its a SWB). Never put a foot wrong, starts first time every time, get about 25mpg and thats virtually all backroads and fields.
  13. Got to Agree, I've had 3 Discovery's in the past, a 300 Tdi, a Series II 4.0 V8 and a 53 Plate TD5 Auto. Due to change in circumstances I needed to get some cash so sold the Disco, bought a normal car and an old R Reg. Nissan Terrano. It's great had it 2 years sailed through both MOT's and goes better off road than my Discovery's. OK it's SWB so that helps. Only had to repair the Fan resistor in the time I've had it and give it a service. They do lean a little but are a great vehicle for off roading. With the Rear seat down in mine there's loads of room. Hewey
  14. Hi Malk, No worries. see what he has to say and let me know. Rgds Hewey
