  1. I wouldn't introduce black powder or its substitues to any smokeless gun simply for cleaning and maintenance reasons. I have shot pyrodex in my muzzleloaders and now limit it to use in my stainless barreled inline rifle (the pellets are handy and convenient) for my state's muzzle loader whitetail season. Pyrodex residue is nasty to clean and will rust metal as well as anything. As for black powder, if you are very (!) confident in your cleaning abilities and the cartridges are loaded properly you shouldn't have a problem. But remember that smoke and ash will get everywhere including back in the action.
  2. Very cool looking brown trout in my opinion. Here in Wisconsin we get quite a bit of tigers and therefore quite a lot of photos of tigers (still trying to catch one myself), and the char genes seem to always prevail in their appearance. That is, lighter markings (the tiger "stripes") against a dark background. What you've shown reminds me somewhat of the marble trout of the eastern alps. In any case a very pretty fish.
  3. Some of those .22s seem crazy cheap compared to what they would go for in the US. Even the sights would go for more than the estimates. Am I missing something or is it a case of too many guns vs too few licensed buyers?
  4. I'm pretty sure if you're running shot through the bushings you're doing it very, very wrong. PowderBushingChart.pdf (mecoutdoors.com) It looks like MEC makes different bars for different sizes of shot. Funny I've never looked at mine but I only reload 7.5 to 9 in my 9000g(s). Never had an issue though, everything I reload is mild stuff for skeet.
  5. Reliable, great magazine design, reasonably accurate, light, mediocre to poor triggers (but these are easy to replace). Lots of aftermarket accessories.
