Oh dear!!! Looks like my original post of SHOOTNG WANTED has gone too far, so I have carried on with another post, hopefully in the correct section. !!

Two hours on a lovely spring afternoon. The new feeding stations are drawing them in. Two more feeders made and now looking for somewhere to put them up. Anyone knows of anybody in Hertfordshire that has problems, please let me know.

All of the videos I have watched, the squirrels will soon learn how to lift the flap. Every time I refill the feeder I put a few peanuts on the platform, as well as a few drops of Aniseed oil. This weekend looks like it's going to be a wash out, so I'll see in the morning.

New version with solid wood platform and top, also food tray flap. Manufactured two, so hoping to get them working next week. Hopefully shoot the existing two for the first time Saturday morning ( weather permitting)

Checked the feeders again, plenty of squirrels around, feed is going down .... so should be a good first shoot. Jays and Magpies in the area too, so plenty of fly tying materials soon. I have had one contact for the shooting of vermin, hopefully something will come of it, however all gone quiet at the moment.

Hello .... Yes, the next two boxes are going to have a flap over the tray. I am going to start shooting the first two boxes next Saturday morning, i have regular visitors, so should be a good session.

I have the first two on a new permission, I should know how they are working in a few weeks. I will have two more finished next week and ready to go somewhere.

Just finished 2 Squirrel feeding stations, more on the go.

Shame you are just a little too far away to nip you some over. Try and get them with their coats on, that way you can check for the dreaded myxomatosis. Must be a few people in your area keeping them off of the racehorse training grounds.

I am looking to join a syndicate in Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire . Sadly after losing my working terrier i no longer have a dog, i am very willing to help in any way needed to run the syndicate. What a fantastic video and sight to see, I used get loads of "bootlace" size eels on the river Thurne in Norfolk, sadly only the odd one now.

I think it should be supplied with a 1/8 BSP connector, but best check with the fit of your gun. It would also pay to purchase the Dry-Pac kit to remove any moisture going into your gun.

That is very strange as I cannot see them being eradicated that easily, if you find out how they have been got rid of please let me know as it looks like you have sent them this way down South ! Perhaps covid has hit the corvids.
