Brilliant photos and story, thank you for sharing, you are very fortunate to live in such a vast and beautiful country.
I liked the part where you happened to find a mint Ruger 3 in .223 while filling up at the gas station.

Quite enjoyed that, happy days.

Bog standard terrestrial.
Our local Tv station is far from bog standard, if you make the mistake of clicking on it the volume is mind blowing, can't say the same for the programs though.

looks like good gear, when I shut down I tried to sell similar plus a festoon for half the price, finally gave up and skipped it, tight beggars round here.
Best of luck with the sale.

It's 11 years since I was treated for prostate cancer, after the operation I had radio therapy and am now on long term medication, life has not been great but at the end of the day I reckon I'm lucky to still have one.
Best of luck to the King and everyone else who has this condition.

Alternatively, if you post off a phone like wot I do, just crop the edges a bit and it knocks gigawats off so you can post.

My mate died from stomach cancer two weeks ago.
In many ways he was a victim of the covid pandemic although he didn't get covid.
If his pain and symptoms had been investigated properly and not just knocked back as indigestion maybe things might have been different ?
His GP wouldn't see him and all he got was a phone consultation each time
How many more like him are there?
My sincere condolences to you and your mates family and I totally agree with your condemnation of the current state of the NHS. My diagnosis was well before Covid but had it not been for my better half who would badger me if I sneezed twice into seeing the doctor and a doctor at the time who was superb and could read between the lines, I wouldn't be here today. Life is not a bed of roses at present but it's still life and getting to see a doctor is difficult but I can count on her to kick the door down when the need arises and if not there has quite a few times where I've been carried into A&E by friends and family.

Dad and I bought two B&D D720 drills for £8 each in I think the middle to late 60's, I eventually bought several attachments, sander, circular saw and hedge trimmer, can't remember when the switch packed in but the drill has been in the shed for at least 25 years. I've managed to find both parts, gave them a clean and freed the chuck, now all I need to do is get a new switch, I hope. Can't upload the picture as the file is too big.
