  1. These are my two air rifles: (HW99s.22 Imp MKII & AirMaks Krait .177) If I do my bit, both are just as effective 💪
  2. Haha! yeah I’ve got the mini chrono 😆 I forked out for a thermal spotter last year too - absolute game changer! that’s some good shooting you’re doing there - esp with irons! I’d like to get into FAC but right now only one of perms would be suitable and that would have to be subsonic. you should def look at getting a gun for barns - my tuned hw99.22 is perfect for that kind of work 💪
  3. Hey Rob. I’m getting 10p groups at 55yrds with the Krait, so hitting bunnies at anything under 45yrds. 💪 I’ll take bunnies with the Imp out to 40 (it does 10p groups out to 50yrds) 👍
  4. Hello all, I haven’t been on here in ages and thought I should introduce myself. I returned to the sport about 3 years ago after a 20 year break. I used to have a shotgun license back then, but I’m sticking to air for now. I’ve built up a few perms in my local area (berks) where I shoot lots of rabbits (usually at night with a Pard008LRF) and I shoot a few GL birds, when I get out in the day with the dog. I’ve got an Hw99.22 (Imp MKII), an HW110k.177 and a new (to me) AirMaks Krait.177
  5. Just to add my thoughts - if you’re going HW then I’d go for the 100. I went 110k which was very good and nice and light - a prerequisite for my shooting. However I’ve had the power drop so got it tuned by hw100tuning - brilliant! Bigger cylinder too for more shots (80ish). Had to send it back in again as trigger sears ‘worn’ out, sorted for £50 so big problems, it’s a cracking gun but to quote the guys at Hw100tuning: - the internals of the 110 are simply inferior to the 100.
  6. Just to add my two pennith: I bought an R10th Super Carbine in .177 just after lockdown 1 - amazing piece of kit! BUT reg broke after 2 months and customer service was AWFUL!! I ended up selling it as it turned out I needed a lighter and more durable setup, so I bought an HW110k .117 and it’s awesome!! Head shooting rats off stick at 40m with JSB heavy’s. In hindsight, if I had gone for the black soft touch R10 I may not have got rid of it - there’s a black 510 too - so much better for shooting pigeons round barns? Any ways, best of luck with the new set up!
